- The peer group here is very healthy . The seniors are very helpful and respectful
- Lush green campus and extremely clean campus
- Classroom facilities and laboratories are very well designed
Dislikes
- Hostels can be improved and can get air conditioned the whole college is air conditioned except the hostels
- A separate ground should be allotted to cricket as football and cricket share a common ground
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is really very good it has variety of courses from robotics to mechatronics to computer programming everything is there along with real life skills like english communication and environmental sciences which makes an overall personality
Internships Opportunities
Being a central government college there is no lack of oppurtunities many internships offers are provieded . Many comapnies come to hier interns and stipends are also good . mostly companies take interns and give them on site roles which helps them learn working skills
Placement Experience
placement percentages are extremely good 95% placements is no joke and in some branches they have touched 100% placement mark which is commendable and recently as student was hired at a package of 1.16Cr in Honk Kong but besides that average package can be improved
Fees and Financial Aid
i will be paying around 2.2lakhs per annum including everything hostel ,mess, registration etc. which is for a general candidate . the fees is very nominal and value for money for the quality they are providing . regarding scholarships there are a lot of oppurtunities for scholarship which the college itself notifies about
Campus Life
The fests are amazing may it be TECHniti or Dhavnai or Utkansh .The inter NITs sports meets are very regular .The clubs are ectremely active and they are a number of clubs which you can join . The libraries have a huge collection of books and a very nice online book issue system
Hostel Facilities
hostel facilities are at par but they can be improved in the near future mostly rooms are 4 sharing for 1st year so someone may take time to adjust but the rooms are spacious . the 2 sharing rooms are pretty small so thats an issue regarding the mess food some hostels have a very good quality food some are decent and some are below average so uniformity must be there
Admission
I applied for IITs and some other NITs but my rank was not at par with the cutoffs and i ended up getting a seat here but this college was in my favourites' list.Regarding the admission process its all online from registration to even hostel allotment which eases the process
Faculty
Faculty has a variety of charecters some are very strict while others are extremely calm and helpful There are some faculty members which are like friends and teach very good but there are a few proffesors which are least bothered but thats not an issue as all colleges have this kind of variety
Night Life
in the 1st year the hostels are strict so there is no much nightlife outside the hostel but there are plenty of places there is a domino's inside the campus open air theatre is a very common spot among the studnets and it feels safe out there
