The application forms and details regarding admission can be gathered from the official website. A minimum of 60% during the bachelor's degree is required. An admission test is conducted followed by the interview. Along with academic excellence a student will be excelling in many other aspect of life.

For MSc Physics specializations in plasma physics, astrophysics, high energy physics, and electronics are provided. Good faculty members who are always there for students to help us out in need. Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. holders with lots of teaching experience in them. Monthly tests are organized to ensure students are always following what is being taught.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are quite reasonable as compared to other private universities. Being an autonomous University they provided around 2 crores for the scholarship purpose. The scholarship is based on academic excellence, economic status, sports quota, etc.

Campus Life

The campus is on the outskirts of Guwahati with a completely isolated environment. Well-maintained hostels are there for both boys and girls with many food canteens providing for the needs of the students. Many indoor and outdoor sports activities can be practiced.

Placement Experience:

In Msc courses, there are no placements offered by the institute. However the institute of technology offers placements for btech and mtech students. The highest package this year was 12LPA and the average package was 8 LPA.

I choose this course because I've interest in it and it's gives you lots of opportunities after the completion of the course. After the completion you apply for the NET, GATE and other OIL & mining companies. To improve the course hire two or three more faculties for smooth classes. The semester final exams held in every 5 months and in between that there is two sessional exams.
