This college takes admission through the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination, which is held annually. After the results and ranks are out, a college counseling process begins, conducted by WBJEE within weeks. The process takes about a month and consists of 2 rounds and then a mop-up round. We get 2 chances to fill up our college preference list. After allotment, first, we go for verification of documents, then the admission starts, which is quite easy; just a couple of documents to be submitted and the payment has to be made and it is completed. It costs Rs. 5000 as a counseling fee and the 1st-semester fee.

I chose Computer Science and Engineering because it is a 4-year long course, computers have been an interesting point for me since childhood, and it is one of the most flexible courses. Our college has some excellent CSE faculty. College is pretty strict about education and exams.

I am not very sure about this, but many startups and companies like TCS offer internship opportunities. College faculties help a lot to get these opportunities and train us well for the same. in which we get first-hand industry experience.

This is the best part of your college. The placement percentage is 100%. One candidate gets 5-6 job offers. Quite a good number of companies visit our college. The in-campus highest package was 10 LPA, while overall it was 45 LPA in Amazon. So be assured of that. I intend to get a job, work for 2-3 years, and then pursue further education.

The fee structure is genuine, according to though sometimes unnecessary charges are taken, you can't help as it is a private organization. It's not too high. Scholarships are available if you research, though. Overall, it's a value-for-money deal.

Yes, we have a CSE student chapter. It's a great club and a lot of events are held. Ingenium is an e-magazine for our college run by students. Other clubs are also there, functioning. A lot of students participate. We have a lot of fun as well as learn a lot more.

The boys' hostel provides you with a sharing room, and the girls' hostel has some sharing rooms as well. We get some storage space, a bed, a chair, and a table. And Wi-Fi service is also available, though the speed isn't that good. All of this for 2000 bucks per month. Lunch and dinner are provided by the mess. And the electricity and mess fees are actual.
