Course Curriculum Overview
The exams are of 2 types - the majors and the minors. The exams are of easy to moderate difficulty, one studying for even 1 week before exams can easily top them. The faculties are very well qualified and have done their degrees from prestigious institutes including IITs, BITS, and NITs. Their teaching method is nice, it is more on the faculty-dependent side. Student to faculty ratio is good it could have been better but currently, it is around 35:1.
Internships Opportunities
Various companies come for internships at the end of the 3rd year phase of the student's life. The companies include American Express, Amazon, DE Shaw, ZScaler, ZS Associates, etc. You're required to clear their coding test rounds which are 90% based on DSA - Data Structures & Algorithms.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is probably the best thing about the college. The course fee for the 4-year-course is 4 lakh. That sums up to around 1 lakh a year. There are fee waivers for financially weak students and EWS category students. The coordinators who deal with the fee issues are very well supportive just like you assume them to be.
Campus Life
Life at the main PU campus is excellent. The campus is around 600 acres so there is plenty of space on campus to roam around. AC Joshi library is one of the biggest libraries in north India and Pt. Nehru himself came to establish it in the pre-2000s era. There is a large number of books available in the library. There is a tech and cultural fest called Goonj happens at around winter mid. Sports facilities are very well equipped like there is a big big football ground and a cricket ground as well. Regarding clubs there are many like Rotaract, Imagica, Star, Programming Club etc.
