Remarks

Students get admissions through JEE MAINS, and CET exams. Students are eligible only after passing their 10+2 class. The application form is released every year on their official website. Application fees and all important date-related guidelines are mentioned on their website.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very much relevant and meets the industry's needs. Our college has quite a decent student-faculty ratio. All the teachers and professors are highly qualified and have more than 15+ years of experience in their respective domains.

Placement Experience

After the 7th-semester students start preparing for placements and start giving interviews. There are various companies which visit our college every year and do mass recruitments. The highest package is 22 LPA by Adobe India. The average package of our college is 6LPA. Top companies such as Amazon, TCS, Infosys, KPIT, HSBC, Adobe, Flipkart, VMware, etc visit our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees don't hike much, there might be a slight difference every year in the fee structure. All Government scholarships are applicable in our college. Hostel students also get a special scholarship for their accommodations. The fee structure varies for the students according to their casts and the government schemes.

Campus Life

Our college has a big library with well-furnished reading halls. The college has a big sports ground, gym, basketball court, etc. Many fests and events are conducted throughout the year by student associations and clubs. Many tech and non-tech events are also held which sees participation from other colleges as well.

Hostel Facilities

Our college has a nice hostel. The rooms and the mantainence of the hostel are good. Mess food is also good. The college has a canteen as well. Hostels are affordable and are not too expensive. Students are allotted hostel rooms on a first come first serve basis.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. I chose this college because this college is very reputed in Pune for engineering specially electrical engineering. Admission process - You should apply through CAP process to get admission in this college. MHTCET + JEE, both scores can get you admitted in this college as there is also an all India quota. After the CAP processes are completed, you can also attend it's spot round as they are also conducted in a very systematic manner. Why this college over others? This is one of the top colleges In pune. This was the reason for me to choose this college. Comparing pvg with colleges like aissms, dy patil, modern, and many more pvg is far better in terms of placements. Didn't had the marks required to get to other colleges like vit viit pict coep pccoe etc so I choose pvg. I got a confirmed admission for keystone college but it is worse that pvg so I chose pvg. To get admission in pvg college you need to fill a form of cet. Mht cet is one of these examples. If you have passed 12th standard then apply for mht cet.
