I sat in JEE/WBJEE exam and after the results were announced I got admitted to this college in the counselling as per the cut-offs. Also, direct admission is possible if scores are good enough. A student with a decent score in Maths and Computer Science can easily apply for this course. For JEE/WBJEE exams, one can apply by logging in to the websites of these respective courses. Also for direct admission and enquiry, one can visit the college website and fill up their details there. Overall the procedure for admission is not very complicated.

I chose this course because it is an evergreen course and there will always be demand for this course. Ample amounts of faculties are available for different subjects as well as different tasks. Students can easily approach them for any issues and/or queries. The teachers are very much helpful, fully qualified and very knowledgeable. The quality of education provided is good and teachers are willing to explain the simplest of things many times students have doubts. The course curriculum is relevant and interesting and it prepares us to face the industries outside. The semester exams are conducted very strictly and no unfair means are allowed in college. But the students are able to score well since the teachers teach us very good

The fee structure is varying as per different courses, streams and upcoming years. In this course, the per semester fees charged is RS 45,200 which is normal as compared to other colleges and facilities provided in our college. Fees are increased in the new year for new admission batches if the expenses are high. But it's not done every year. There are various scholarships available which can be applied for by eligible students and our college always keeps us informed about all sorts of scholarship information. Also, financial assistance is provided by colleges to students if they provide the required documents. And if the student is pursuing a job while studying it is also taken into consideration and proper arrangements are made.

Various events are organised in our college from time to time and also our college participates in events organised by other colleges. Freshers parties for new batches and Farewell parties for passing out batches are organised. The annual event named MAGNUS (usually organised in February) is organised in which celebrities like Honey Singh and Badshah have come. This time Hardy Sandhu has performed live. Our classrooms are very big with an adequate amount of space. There are enough amount of fans & sufficient lighting. Our labs contain fully functioning machines equipped with AC facilities. Our Central Library is very big. An entire floor is allotted for Library only. All the books and study materials are provided by the library. Also, there is a digital library for research, project and other purposes. Our college has a gym, swimming pool, cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, and volleyball court. Many activities like planting trees, donating food, etc are carried out by students as well as college.
