Remarks

Engineering was my interest During the counselling procedure, I was assigned to NIT Srinagar's Electronics and Communication Engineering division. As a result, I picked it. In addition, at NIT Srinagar, you will have plenty of time to study for other competitive tests. The attendance requirement of 75% is seldom strictly implemented.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course content is up to date and aligned with GATE and other competitive tests. On average, 6 courses and 2 labs are offered each semester. The department is not particularly flexible when it comes to assigning grades, so you'll have to put in a lot of work if you want to get good scores. You can seek recommendations for industry exposure from faculty members and other professors.

Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

In the University there were a lot of events which had happened in the University. However, when our University had organised events then participation from Schools, Colleges, and Universities had participated in the University. The campus was a facility rich place and there was a lot of exposure.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee was 60000. For merit and reserved category students, the institute offers the following scholarship programmes offered by the federal government. For UG students, the scholarship amount is INR 10,000, while for PG students, it is INR 20,000. The scholarship will last for the duration of the academic year/course.

Campus Life

The Wi-Fi and LAN services are sufficient. Although certain routers may have issues from time to time, the campus has been equipped with open air Wi-Fi connectivity. Each student has wired internet access in three hostels. The library has just been rebuilt and is well-kept, with a LAN speed of up to 200 MBps. The types of equipment accessible in laboratories are adequate for every student to study.

NIT Sringar is beautiful!!

Placement Experience:

Marshal the placement resources so well that our college has close to 90% placement records. Siemens, ABB and such companies where ECE engineers can contribute are the companies that hires us and the average for our ECE branch is 6 lakhs or so.

Is Nit Srinagar worth it?

Placement Experience:

Yes my college offers placements for each branch students becomes eligible after sixth semester if they doent have any active supply in there course and very company have their own criteria to make eligble to the student for placements like cgpa etc. companies visited in civil was L&T, Tata steel, Jsw, Afcon etc and the average package was 6 lakh every company brought diffrent no. of offers average was 5 in civil highest package got to mine class crc of 1300000 that was a psu and the percentage of students got placed was 10% only. mine plans after was to prepare for goverments exams.

There are in campus placements in our university. Students become eligible for the same from 7th semester. Companies like IBM, AMAZON, WIPRO, INFOSYS, DELOITTE, CGEGG, HONDA, NTPC, ACCENTURE are the top recruiters. The highest package was of 36.5 LPA and the average is 11.5LPA in the year 2023. Placement Experience:

Our institute has a placement call, and it helps the students acquire jobs in the industry. Many top companies like Wipro, L and T, and NVIDIA visit our campus, and it provides jobs in every field from Information Tech. to Material-related jobs. Here job opportunities are for every branch. Recently in one day 30-40 students got placed at an average package of 10 LPA. Most of the opportunities are for CSE and IT students as it goes for every institute and some companies like GAIL, and IOCL. BARC gives internship opportunities to chemical branches too. The core branches like Electrical and Mechanical also perform well in the placements. From the 7th semester, placement opportunities are given to the students. Highest package 40 LPA and median package 10 LPA.

Nit Srinagar the heaven

Admission:

First apply for jee mains exam and get a rank under 50000 and also minimum 75% marks in 12th exam and you have only three attempt to qualify jee mains exam if you clear the cutoff so you also eligible for jee advance exam for the admission in IIT

The university is situated in the Trikuta foothills and is 80 km away from the main Jammu city so one has to bear that because everything is not available sometimes. Electricity is 24×7 and the weather is awesome.

Is Nit Srinagar worth it?

I got this college on the basis of councellign held after jee main result before this i got Natinal institue of technology Megalya i left that beacuse of non permanent hostel facility and bad reviews from the seniors and the distance from mine hoemtown sikar(Rajasthan) even many good engineerig colleges was there in mine list but because of mine less marks in jee main and advance i am unable to get them (example : nit silchar, nit Wrangle, nit Trichy etc) but over all mine college was good according to Enviroment conditions and other parameters and the admission process was very smooth just you have to verify your documents ....Read More

As we all know that the B.Tech course is of four years and divided into eight semesters. It is offereed across 8 different specialisations including /cse, /ee, ECE, MEC, META, CIVIL, IT /cHE . The course admission is done on the basis of candidate's performance in JEE Main followed by JOSSA counselling/CSAB counselling. The allotment is donw on the basis of merit score in Je/e Main. The Eligibility Criteria is that the candiddate must qualify JEE Main and score above 75% marks in 12th. A score of 96 - 97 p;ercentile is enough for an OB/C or General student and 93% -90 perccentile for SC / ST students.
