Remarks

The college is exclusively for the kids of army personnel with a 25% reservation for sc category students with Delhi domicile. You don't need to give an exam other than NEET but you do have to apply for it prior to NEET on the IPU website as its counselling is done separately from the other colleges affiliated with the IPU University.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The college has 4 to 5 permanent faculties and 2 faculty from the base hospital Delhi Cantt. in each department. That is 1 teacher for approx 15 students. The teachers are all super specialised in their respective fields and mostly all are very efficient in teaching while following the latest MCI guidelines. there are a total of 4 exams a student has to give mid-term, end terms, pre-proof and proofs. The exams are all designed to ensure that the passing students are eligible to be called doctors but not so tough as to fail a lot of students. An average result has about 15 fails in 100 students

Internships Opportunities

4

The interns serve in the base hospital in Delhi Cantt. With a medical decent exposure. The college, unfortunately, doesn't provide any stipend at the moment. The interns are qualified doctors who for one year gain practical experience under practising doctors.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college is rather affordable for a private institution with an annual fee of 5 lakh. Scholarships are available for students with Excellent results and money rewards for exceptional ones. Interns do not get a stipend though.

Campus Life

3

There are quite a few facilities available at the campus which keep buzzing with preparations for various competitions and programs. The college has an annual fest called Aura which has not been happening because of the lockdown but will be restarting now. The college has an academic library but lacks one literature and all.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostels are pretty nice with 2 students per room till 3rd year and then a single student per room. The hostel provides pretty decent wifi connectivity and has attached washrooms. The hostel is compulsory for the fresher batch so registration for a hostel is done with the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to pursue mbbs as it was my field of interest. Here faculty:student ratio is good. All the faculties are well qualified from very well known medical colleges of Delhi and other states. Term exams are held regularly thus helping us to cope up with the pressure. It is quite difficult to pass mbbs as it has a vast syllabus but faculty is always there to help us.

the course is difficult, obviously, but the faculty members and seniors are extremely helpful on all accounts. the faculty is well trained and are experts in their fields. they are really helpful in other regards like STS and research too. term exams are conducted every 3-4 months and their difficulty level is medium. it's not that difficult to pass but you need to make an active effort throughout the year.
