Remarks

Eligibility- Commerce with maths (atleast 50% in maths and best four according to cut off), Application form- DU Website with very minimal fees, Improvement- No it's a great process already just waiting time can be reduced

I choose this course because of my interest and subjects. The student-faculty ratio is 1:50. The qualifications of the faculty members are pretty vast, all of them are PhD holders and their teaching methods are quite efficient. passing term exams are easy!

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 10800 per year

Placement Experience

Final year (5th and 6th sem) students are eligible for placements. Many companies like EY, Travclan, Tata Motors etc. visited. The highest package was 7.2LPA and the average is 5LPA. Only 10% of students were placed. My plans after the degree are to do master's.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was no fee hike, the fees are very cost-effective and minimal. It's just around 10k a year which I feel is affordable enough. And along with it, the concession is provided to students with reservations. I didn't get any scholarships or anything else as it was not required

Campus Life

Annual fest Srijan is held every time, it includes much new exposure for students and lots of activities. All kinds of books are available in the library. There is even a sports quota for admission, and many of them are there. Society's are pretty active. I'm myself part of 3 societies, the artistry society, the placement cell and the Entrepreneurship cell

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

SPMCW is Special!!

I applied at colleges such as LSR and Gargi purely because they were also girls colleges and are above ranked than my college. In DU though a proper merit system works and in that merit my score couldn't get admission in those two colleges.
