Remarks

- Eligibility for the course depends upon the 12th percentage. - Admission is through the merit list. - One can go to the DU portal to register themselves and fill out the form. - I have not availed of any reservation benefits but there are reserved seats for Reserved categories.

Course Curriculum Overview

- The course offers a wide variety of subjects for studying also I am from an art background so I thought it would be good and also someone else recommended me. - Faculty: student ratio - 7:105 - All the faculty is well qualified. Most of them are associate professors with Ph.D. - Exams occur according to the calendar for DU exams which happen twice first in May-June and other in Nov- Dec

Class Size: 105Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

- Fees for the course have been increased from previous years. But still, it is reasonable. - I haven't availed any scholarship benefits but still there is Financial aid being provided to the students. - Student aid fund is there, and scholarships for meritorious students are also provided for those who score highest in the course as a token of appreciation.

Campus Life

- Annual festivals are celebrated during October or November various stalls are being set up. Societies of various colleges compete in various areas such as dance, music, drama, and street drama. Games are also there. Overall it is very fun. A celebrity is being invited for performing the last time it was Jassi Gill. - Classrooms are well equipped with projectors, chairs, and desks, green boards or whiteboards, and fans in some rooms there is also AC. - Sports society is there which competes at district and state levels. Extracurricular activities include taking part in a drama, dance, and music societies. Eco clubs are there and also NCC is there for the students.

There is a placement cell in Hansraj College which does provides placements of highest package around 25 lakh of last year and being median package around 7 lakhs, but this for selective courses like economics and BCom Honours and computer science Honours & few of mathematics honours while rest of the courses required to have different kind of skill sets can also go for placement depending up on the role that the companies bring to be hired for

DTU is Totally Worth Spending Time At!

Placement Experience:

Campus placements have been good from what I have noticed this year. BBA and BAE students get almost the same packages and same companies hire the students. Average package for BAE students is 5.5 Lakhs and for BBA it's a little high at 6 lakhs or so.

Our college has a very active and effective placement cell. Major companies like Goldman Sachs, Bain among many others come on campus for not just placements but also internships. Average and Median packages are between 8 and 10 lakh per annum, with highest packages going up to 25 lakhs. Many also go for postgraduate education, such as MBA after CAT, or to reputed colleges like the DSE for MA.

Tale of a First Year

Placement Experience:

The college Offers campus placements which are mostly in the private sector. Students are eligible for Campus Placements after Completing the 4th semester or we say on completion second year. Many companies are brought on board By the placement cell of the college. In this list also Mkinsey, EY, KPMG, Which are some of the prominent rulers of their industries. The median package offered to UG was 6 lakhs per annum, Top 9 students were offered a median salary of 9,00,000 per annum. Around 490 were placed From campus placements of the college out of 1300 students eligible For the placements, These are only approximate figures and not exact. The highest package offered from the college is around 14,00,000 per annum. Talking about my plans after getting the degree is going for highest studies, Either Masters in economics or MBA in business economics.

KM COLLEGE - FILLED WITH COMPLAINTS ?

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

Placement Experience:

I would say the placement opportunities are more available for science , commerce background students in the college there are rarely any placement opportunities for humanities background students . Mostly students starts engaging in placement in the fifth semester .severky companies visited campus every year including Deloitte , EY.TCS etc . Around 40 - 50 percent students from professional courses get the placement annually .even for the students not opting for placement the exposure n the strong alumni network of college help them secure good opportunities outside campus

This college isn't what I chose first of all. It's based on nta's allocation system in accordance to your cuet scores. The other colleges like srcc might outperform my College in terms of sheer placements and exposure to real world. No there's no rejection system under cuet.
