Remarks

The college is not overcrowded, and the college's location is very appealing to me. The college is in a very good location, and the college facilities are also excellent and the college is well designed. I was given the seat after passing the GATE exam through CCMT counselling and earning a 75% in my B.Tech programme. The college does not bother us because the faculty quality is excellent and the college provides an excellent education. The atmosphere at the college is very educational.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The college curriculum is up to date. The curriculum adheres to industry guidelines as well as the most recent norms and international standards. The curriculum provides us with a thorough understanding and knowledge of business knowledge, machine learning, coding, and data analysis, among other topics. The curriculum explains how to convert raw data into structured useful data. The college's faculty is also well-versed in such techniques. They are not only PhD standards, but they also help us understand every detail in great depth. The faculty are the ones who help us clear our bases in terms of business and engineering tactics related to data science because they have extensive experience in the corporate world.

Internships Opportunities

4

I believe our college has an excellent internship programme because it allows us to understand professional learning by providing us with excellent internship opportunities. Although the college is new, it places a strong emphasis on internships. Our placement cell helps us to identify companies for internships and fully helps us in internship placements.

Placement Experience

4

The placement committee was also formed recently. However, the college was able to invite very good companies, and a large number of companies were invited, with approximately 110+ companies visiting the college campus during the placement drive. Nonetheless, the college achieved a placement rate of 90%, with the highest placement offer being around 38 LPA and the average salary offer being 15 LPA.

Campus Life

4

The college campus is a melting pot. The college architecture is extremely well designed. The classrooms are modern and well-ventilated. The college also has a discipline committee that ensures that no ragging occurs on campus, as the college has a strict anti-ragging policy. The college library houses many books from around the world, including many best-sellers, to help us improve our knowledge and communication skills. WiFi is also available on the college campus. The college atmosphere is also very peaceful.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The college has an excellent hostel. The hostel maintains proper hygiene by cleaning the rooms and bathrooms on a daily basis. The hostel mess food is good and tasty, and it is prepared in a clean environment. The wardens and staff work very hard to keep the hosel in order. We have access to water, electricity, and WiFi 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The hostel rooms are available on a double occupancy basis, with beds, study tables, and an almirah for each of us.

A large no. Of students are hired by these companies with a minimum package of 2 lac per anum. The percentage of students getting placed are 30%. I am looking for job opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course to gain information about computers very deeply and to fulfill my dream. The student-faculty ratio was 1:20 i.e. 1 teacher in a 20-student class, according to me, this is the better ratio in terms of faculty and student ratio. Masters + PhD (NET or NET/JRF or SET). Exams were taken on time and the passing of the exams was at a moderate level not too easy or not too difficult.

Placement Experience:

As the institute is in its initial phase that does not mean that you won't receive any placement. The college placement committee is fully supportive and if you are a hardworking person you will receive a good placement. The committee is able to invite good companies for placement. Companies like Amazon, Arista Networks, The Captury, DESAY S V Automotive, Toppr, HealthifyMe, L&T, Cognizant, Indian Air Force (IAF), etc visited the campus to participate in the placement drive of the college. The highest package for our batch went up to 45 LPA and the average package was around 12 LPA.

Placement Experience:

There were only a few opportunities for students to appear in various Campus recruitment drives due to the conditions prevalent in the state of J&K. However, the campus did witness some PSU's towards the end of my 7th semester. Companies like HPCL, IOCL and GAIL visited primarily for recruitment of Mechanical engineering students. Although some four students from Civil Engineering also got placed. The recruitment process included three stages: 1. Selection of 3 or 4 students for group discussion, based on CGPA scored. 2. GROUP DISCUSSION 3.INTERVIEW

Remarks:

Overall it is a good college with respect to the quality of faculties and the library. Students are provided with a good reading room with one separated from the other by a board. Still, I would say the college management need to work a bit harder and address the gender inequality issues which girls are facing here.
