Course Curriculum Overview

I like the digital world and this course is very demanding Faculty :student ration 1:6 Most of our faculties are Phd holders. Our faculty is so good. They don't put any pressure on us. If we present all classes, 99% syllabus complete.

TCS, Wipro, Infosys and other companies and roles offered under internships with stipend. In our college, many projects were done by us. Internship and placement are so good at our university. Many students get internships in the 4th sem.

Campus Life

Our Annual fest name: Sister Nivedita fest. Our fest and tech fest is held in March or April. In our library all reading books are available and also other books are available. Our classroom is so neat and clean. Every month extracurricular activities are held on the campus.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel feels like a second home to me. The rooms are huge and comfortable. Two persons share one rooms , but they provide with separate beds,desks. Medical facilities are also avaible here. In hostel food qualities are so good. hostel fees:9000

Stepping stone to success

Placement Experience:

Now i am pursuing BBA in final year, from the 3rd semester i gotten the opportunity for internship in Godrej. - Students become eligible for campus recruitment from the 5th semester. - Around 65% of students get placed during campus interviews. - The highest package offered to the BBA students is INR 4 LPA. The average package offered to the students is INR 3 LPA and the lowest is INR 2 LPA. - The top recruiters who visit the companies are Accenture, EY (Ernst & Young), Wipro Technologies LtdHDFC Bank Pvt Ltd, Deutsche Bank, Amazon.com Inc, Concentrix Corporation, Societe Generale, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, etc. - But still, improvement in place of recruitment is highly recommended. - I want to pursue MBA after and want to commit to the business.

Positive remarks about college, they specifically take care of everyone they call at home if any student is irregular or not serious about his/her study. So everyone attends classes and lectures a minimum of 75% and teachers motivate students for their all-over growth and performance.

There are a few private colleges present in Kolkata which provides biotechnology but in my opinion the labs of those colleges are not as well furnished as ours. There curriculum is little different than ours. I didn't apply to any other colleges apart from Snu for biotechnology I sat for an online exam .And I cleared the test. Once you get a call you visit the college campus meet the faculty and the faculty may take a type of interview session The addmission process is smooth. But sometimes the staff members of admission makes blunder. My classes were about to start from 17 August, but they called me during July( because she didn't know that biotechnology does not fall under para- medical and made a mistake and for her mistake I had to suffer as I'm not a resident of Kolkata)...Read More
