Remarks

if you want to enjoy all aspect of college life and if you are well balanced, then this is the college for you.

Entrance Preview

I got though by my 12th percentile. it was 90.3% if your marks match the cut off then you can visit the college and do to the particular department, get your marks checked and that's it. do carry your original mark sheet. Caution: if your score is within the 1st or 2nd or any cut off then get the admission. if you go when the cut off range is lower than your score, the college wont accept it.

Internships Opportunities

In recent years yes it has, but having said that you really need to be able to grab the opportunity. some of my class mate have started there own start up. now, you can see what I am talking if you have the ability the sure you will find internship. even you can start a career. One of my friend is in moving editing, some are in web designing but you need to have the skill. if you can an idea of a program you can discuss with the faculty and you just never know, you can be next zuckerberg.

Placement Experience

3

Placement in science department is fairly low. Simply for the reason that students majorly opt for pg and commerce department is quite good. highest being 30 lacks (2014). I am not the right person to talk about the placement since I have limited information about it.

College Events

4

College annual events. 1. college fest, where a celeb is called upon mostly its a singer and quite a fun. likes of J STAR has visited the college. 2. annual day, where many athletic events are organised. 3. department fests, usually in the month of march. so march is a very colourful month in the college. Many actors and well notable personalities are invited to deliver a seminar. recently, people like ex army chief was invited.

Fees and Financial Aid

yes scholarship is offered by the college. only student who really score good marks or students who's parents are in government service such as police or army may get scholarship.

Campus Life

3.5

Gender ratio 55% male 45 % female workshops I think I have seen 4 or 5 workshops days in a year. Society dance, singing, photograph, debate, dog care. These are most famous and the ones I know. Campus life its pretty chilled, you will find people from mostly north part of the country, especially Haryana and Punjab. I have some friends from south india too. There is absolutely no issue of attendance in college its just that if you give your assignments and test on time you will be just fine.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very supportive. you will easily find good guidance if you really seek it. about alumni network, I don't have any info.

Exam Structure

Firstly, lets talk about exams. Internal test once every semester, presentation and max two assignment.there is not a lot of work load as for as internal assessment is concerned. secondly, labs. yes labs max twice a week. and if you are a average performer you wont have much trouble. Thirdly, semester exams. Its not that difficult. if you apply even 40% of your mind you are sure to sure 60% marks. which is not at all bad.

Faculty

5

Faculty in Motilal Nehru college especially maths and physics department, as I am from sciences, is more than just amazing. you can see the passion of sharing knowledge on the professor's face. if you really love a subject then surly you wont be disappointed.

Students become eligible for placements on the 3rd year, we have decent placement opportunities but not the best, highest package is around 15 lakhs. Companies that visit are Bain and Co., Urban Clap etc. average package is around 5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are getting into a master's programme and pursuing research.
