Remarks

The college is well-known for its academic achievement and highly experienced faculty. I must complete the application form on the college website, pass the GATE exam, and attend COAP counselling. After passing my exam, I went to COAP counselling and was able to obtain a seat at IIT Jammu. My final admission was based on my academic performance and counselling performance.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The college's curriculum is constantly updated. The curriculum adheres to industry guidelines as well as the most recent standards and international standards. The curriculum provides us with a thorough knowledge and understanding of business experience, machine learning, coding, and data analysis, among other topics. The curriculum explains how to convert raw data into organised useful data. The college's faculty is also well-versed in such techniques. Our faculty is mostly of PhD standards, but they also allow us to understand every piece of data in great detail and depth. The faculty are the ones who help us clear our bases in terms of business and engineering tactics related to data science because they have extensive experience in the corporate world.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

I think our college has a very good internship program as it helps us to understand professional learning very deeply by providing us with good internship opportunities. For the summer internship programme, more than 45 companies came to our campus. The average internship stipend was around Rs. 65,000.

Placement Experience

4.5

In a really short amount of time, the college recognised the value of placement performance in order to compete with India's top IITs, and the placement council and college management collaborate to improve college placement quality. The college has a track record of 100% placement, with the highest placement offer being about 43 LPA and the average earnings offer being around 17 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college offers scholarships on merit and financial need. One can also avail for state sponsored scholarship schemes as well. Our college offers very good quality internships and the stipend is also very good for M.Tech.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus is situated in Jammu, which is a stunningly beautiful city. The college strictly enforces a no-ragging policy. College classrooms are well-ventilated and outfitted with a virtual board and computers. The library is a source of wisdom for us, with books ranging from academic to best-sellers by authors from all over the world available. The most significant advantage is the availability of all kinds of research journals, which will be extremely useful to us after the assignment.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel's location is excellent. The hostel is situated on the most picturesque side of campus. The hostel rooms are thoughtfully made and fully furnished. The rooms are well-ventilated. The food is delicious. The hostel is well-kept and tidy. Every alternate day, the rooms and bathrooms are cleaned. The hostel has most of the necessities as well as modern amenities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course to gain information about computers very deeply and to fulfill my dream. The student-faculty ratio was 1:20 i.e. 1 teacher in a 20-student class, according to me, this is the better ratio in terms of faculty and student ratio. Masters + PhD (NET or NET/JRF or SET). Exams were taken on time and the passing of the exams was at a moderate level not too easy or not too difficult.

Placement Experience:

As the institute is in its initial phase that does not mean that you won't receive any placement. The college placement committee is fully supportive and if you are a hardworking person you will receive a good placement. The committee is able to invite good companies for placement. Companies like Amazon, Arista Networks, The Captury, DESAY S V Automotive, Toppr, HealthifyMe, L&T, Cognizant, Indian Air Force (IAF), etc visited the campus to participate in the placement drive of the college. The highest package for our batch went up to 45 LPA and the average package was around 12 LPA.

Placement Experience:

There were only a few opportunities for students to appear in various Campus recruitment drives due to the conditions prevalent in the state of J&K. However, the campus did witness some PSU's towards the end of my 7th semester. Companies like HPCL, IOCL and GAIL visited primarily for recruitment of Mechanical engineering students. Although some four students from Civil Engineering also got placed. The recruitment process included three stages: 1. Selection of 3 or 4 students for group discussion, based on CGPA scored. 2. GROUP DISCUSSION 3.INTERVIEW

Remarks:

Overall it is a good college with respect to the quality of faculties and the library. Students are provided with a good reading room with one separated from the other by a board. Still, I would say the college management need to work a bit harder and address the gender inequality issues which girls are facing here.
