Remarks

You have to get very good percentile in order to get into this college for even some of the less desired courses like Production or Textile. The application is done through DTE website and it usually happens after the results for all common entrance exams are declared. There is some reservation available.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is nice and very qualified to teach in such an esteemed institute. There are around 5-15 faculties in every department. The teaching method is basic. The exams can be scary because there are no options in the paper and you have to solve every question.

Internships Opportunities

Great internships are offered. One of my friends is currently working in a longterm Microsoft interships that he got placed with during campus placements. I also had a great summer internship opportunity at a less known company.

Placement Experience

Students usually sit for campus placement in their fifth semester for internships and in their seventh semester for jobs. A lot of companies visit the college, with an average package offered around 12 LPA. Around 60% students get placed, while the others opt for higher education.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very low when compared to other engineering colleges that charge exorbitant amounts. Even then, a lot of scholarship opportunities can be obtained through the scholarship department present on campus. I personally benefited from Government Scholarship through the DBT Portal online.

Campus Life

A number of different college fests happen every year, such as Technovanza, Pratibimb and Enthusia. They usually happen in December, after the exams of the first term and before the college reopens in January. The libraries are well stacked and the classrooms are ambient and air conditioned. There is also an on campus book club run by the DLA society.

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

Good placements are offered by this college. Top companies like Tata Motors, Bajaj, DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Wipro pari, etc. Average placement for mechanical branch is about 9lpa while that for computer and entc goes up to 15lpa.

I Actually don't applied for any other college my preference from first was VJTI only however I do add SPIT on my 2nd preference I don't get rejected I just choose VJTI because it has a great background than any other college also it's location is quite good to get admission students must give an exam name mht cet which is Maharashtra state common entrance test through which they get admission in my course and many other once result is out the admission has to be done through cap round cutoff for my course is between 95-99%+ile depends on various factors like reservation and etc etc overall admission process takes some days but it is worthy...Read More

Detailed and Honest Review of VJTI - One of The Oldest Engineering Colleges in India.

Talking about other colleges I applied for, I registered for JOSAA and CSAB both. Through JOSAA I got the IIT Dharwad, since I got the BS plus MS programm there I regestered for CSAB, through CSAB I secured seat into iiit Bhopal cse. Because it is a newly established iiit, it does have poor facilities. Then through CAP counselling I got seat at VJTI. Then Ieft iiit Bhopal and joined VJTI. Today I think that, the decision taken by me was absolutely right. Apart from this I also applied for IIST Thiruvananthpuram but due to my 12th board score I could not make it.
