Remarks
The eligibility is to score minimum of 55% in 12th, and then qualify for the common entrance test. Application form could be found in the official site of the university, the application fees costs 500 and the dates ranges from May to June. No reservations availed. Not any such Improvement needed.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course opted by me was of great interest. I opted for it as I was keen to know more about the diverse religious and cultural existence and the in depth studies of it. The faculty as highly qualified professors from different backgrounds. They hold PhD degrees and international experience. The teaching method is phenomenal. The term exams were taken on time and with proper guidance and noted provided by the faculty professors, Good CGPA could be scored.
Fees and Financial Aid
Due to the fee hike policy, several educational institutions had to shut down major courses. It has become less affordable for economically deprived students to get quality education in lower fees. Although, the government colleges and universities are supposed to be light on the pockets when comes to education, the cost of study in Jamia Millia Islamia differs from course to course. It ranges between 7000 p/a to 200000p/a. None of the scholarships were taken up by me.
Campus Life
The annual fest oftenly takes place during Feb-March. It includes the cultural activities from all the possible states of India to acknowledge the diversity. The library includes around 4000-5000 books and journals for all kind of related field. The amenities in classroom included smart classes and use of projector. Jamia has it's own sports complex with major outdoor and indoor games included. It even has it's own Cricket team. There are several groups, including theatre,educational, political, where one can be part of and learn better.
Hostel Facilities
The facilities provided in the hostel includes proper study area, basic amenities, water coolant, washing machine, spacious bathrooms, library area, elevators, and Good lounge area. The meal quality is excellent with foods that includes non-veg and veg. Registration process includes applying for hostels, the person will then be called for an interview with the local guardians. Upon selection, the admission charge for the hostel is to be paid that is 15000 for six months.
