Remarks

Jee mains or wbjee is necessary for admission procedure. Direct admission is also there. The application form can be found in the college office or college website. Bengal students get some reservation benefits. I think the admission procedure should be more clear and based on the results of jee.

Course Curriculum Overview

In Kolkata, it is the cheapest college for cse. Also, this college is affiliated with the university. The student ratio here is more in cse as compared to other branches. The faculty members are well qualified and educated. The teaching method of teachers is unique. Internal exams conducted by the college are easy and accurate.

Internships Opportunities

Flipkart and tcs and several companies provide internships to students. Companies provide different roles according to them and stipend depends upon them. Projects are also provided by the company according to them. Still, I'm in one 1year so I don't know much about internships.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, you will start getting placement, several companies visit the college to give jobs to job freshies, like tcs, Wipro, Oyo, ola, etc. The highest package is 32 lakhs and the average is 4-5 lakhs. The placement record is good. My plan is to work for a good company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of a BTech degree is affordable. The cost to study here is around 6 lakhs. In around 6-8 lakhs you can complete your BTech degree. Different types of scholarship are provided like good results scholarship etc.

Campus Life

You will get everything here. Freshers, annual fest(also known as Magnus), sports games, intercollege, farewell, and many more. You will get course books in a library. Different books are also there. The classroom is neat and clean. Every month, there are some extracurricular activities taking place.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are neat and clean. You will get a wardrobe, bed with curtain and blanket. The meals of the hostel mess are average. Outside the college, there is very less availability of pg and rooms. Overall I will suggest it's a good thought of taking hostel you will get many benefits.

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else
