Entrance Preview
I did my digree studies in this particular college. The admissions was purely based on the academic scores that you have scored in your per-digree/+2. The admission process consists of an application filing which is succeeded by the shortlisting of the selecting applications. After being shortlisted, the candidate will be informed on the same and has to appear for a personal interview in the college, which will be scheduled by the college authorities.
Course Curriculum Overview
When I was studying in the college, the curriculum was based on Bangalore University's rules and norms. Now the college has become autonomous and has their own specially designed curriculum. The faculties are highly qualified professionals with a proven teaching record. The indeed are not only concerned about your academic performance but also your overall well being. They will literally force/drag you into extra curricular activities.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internship opportunities in renowned firms whom they have tie ups with. Other than internships, they will provide opportunities to have industrial visits all around Karnataka.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are awesome. In my batch candidates were placed in Wipro, CTS, TTK, and many other renowned firms. To be frank, no student was denied a placement opportunity. Every interested students will get at least 2-3 interview opportunities in the final two semesters.
College Events
The College is famous for its Inter Collegiate and intra-collegiate fests.We had Tech fests (Synchronize, Xatitude) and Management Fests every year. The intra-collegiate dance fest- Nrithyanjali the inter-college dance fest is one among the famous dance fest in south India.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides opportunities for International Student Exchange Programs and various other scholarships. I was unfortunate that i dint get the opportunity to avail these.
Campus Life
The campus gas got a pretty good gender ratio. The college has got tie ups with different international agencies and there by students from different ethnic groups and nationalities are been admitted in the college from years back and obviously it has even increased now. The cultural day ( every year in the month of September) is been celebrated to foster the unity among the students from different cultures. The campus is free from campus politics.
Alumni/Alumna
The college gas got a wide alumni network. Every year college will be having an alumni day where each student will be personally invited through e-mail and phone calls. I have a good contact with my seniors and I am having an opportunity to meet all those persons at least once in a yer when we meet up in the college.
