Remarks

The Admission Applications are Welcomed only in Online Mode on the Official College Website and the Elibility includes that you should have completed your graduation The fees of the application form in 650INR I availed Reservation Benifit of OBC Cateogary I do not think that any type of Improvement is needed in the admission process

I did my my graduation From Delhi University then i decieded to do Masters but in the same field , that is why i chosen this course in the college The teachers are very brilliant and have years of teaching Experience in their Respective field the Teachers and Students ratio is somewhere around 1:50 The exams in my course are held Sem wise

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 115000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees is litlle high to be honest for a Student like me belonging to Lower Midlle class If you combine tution and Hostel Fees, it will cost you somewhere 4.5 lakh Rupees for completing this course of MCA But i am availing a Scholarship from the Governement Which is to be given to the Students who belongs to Backward Classes I am hoping that i will get a job in the campus by the last semester

Campus Life

The campus life is really amazing. It is totally a different Experience that i had in DU The College campus is big and beautiful The college conducts fests and Workshops every Semesters for the students from all departments The Students do participates in various sports like volleyball and Lawn tennis There is an improvement needed for the active functioning of Students clubs and Societies

Placement Experience:

For Integrated MCA, students become eligible for placements since the 9th semester. For Btech, its 7th semester. Some of the companies that visited our college are SOTI, UST, Leopard Technologies, Safran Digit. There are many other companies that we can apply to but those drives are not conducted at our college like experion technologies and G10X technologies. Our college is the only college in Kerala from where students are hired by Safran Digit. I have gotten placement in G10X technoologies private limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed MCA at Nirmala College due to several reasons: • It is a course which is open to anyone who has passed any bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% and above. The only prerequisite is that one need to attend the annual LBS MCA entrance examination to secure admission to this course. • The syllabus of MCA in this college is affiliated with that of MG University, Kottayam. It is a vast syllabus covering various applications of computer science including programming in various languages such as C, Java, PHP, Python, data structures, algorithms, statistics, data mining, machine learning, software engineering, networking, etc. • The course is theoretically good but practically it doesn't really equip all students with enough knowledge and understanding to be placed in a good IT company. Some portions could be excluded from various theory subjects such as Networking with TCp/Ip and Algorithms Analysis.

Exploring the Pathways of Excellence

Placement Experience:

students typically become eligible for campus placements strarting from the 7th semester of their engineering program. preparation for placements starts in the 6th semester. Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, IBM, Amazon etc. the numbers of offers made varies each year, but on average, each major recruiting company makes 5 to 20 offfers during the placement season. Highest package can go upto 15-20 LPA offered by companies like Amazon, oracleetc. and average package range between INR 4-6 LPA like profiles offered are Software Developer, Data Analyst, Project Manager etc. Approximately 70-80% of eligible students secure placements through campus recruitment drives. My pan is to secure a job and after getting stable then trying to do my wn business in this field.

I have completed BCA so I followed its corresponding post graduation . There are 7 faculties at Calicut University campus for MMCAand a Lab assistant. The faculties must complete post graduation or any higher education (PhD or net qualified). In MCA exams are conducted by sem vise so there should be a semester exam after each. It is not that much easy to pass these exams so need to focus on each subjects thoroughly

Navigating MACE: A student's journer Through Campus Life, Academics and Oppurtunities.

I chose this college over other colleges primarily for its autonomous status. This allows MACE to have more current and industry relevent curiculum unlike colleges with fixed university syllabus. Admission to MACE was based on keam rank. Although I had a good rank, it wasnt high enough to get my preferred branch in NIT calicut or CET. I chose this college considering the distance from my home. Good facilities and the environment of the college. This college supports extracurricular activities.
