Amazing college.

The college is very good for all students especially for financially poor students who need to take a professional graduation or post graduation various courses are provided by our college such as B tech Polymer Engineering, Bsc Computer Science, Bsc Cyb

I took Entrance examination conducted by the 3 colleges (STAS Edappally, pathanamthitta and Kottayam) together each college has 30 seats each i got 28 th rank and got admission in STAS kottayam.

The 3 year course structure is good it was prepared by professional teachers of MG university which covers most of the programming languages and computer applications within 6 semesters the programming languages includes C, C++, Java,DBMS, Linux, PHP etc.

The college has affiliated with MG university university to facilitated internships, fellowships and other initiatives students from backward casts/tribes and minority students will get fee concession, stipends etc the fees structure is already low compare to other colleges.

The School of technology and applied science, kottayam interacts with industries through various programmes to impart application knowledge and integrated industrial training to the students and faculty, along with live industrial projects, placement through campus interviews and industrial collaborations.

The students union elected by the students of the college conducts arts fests, college day events, sports fest etc. Also other programs like nature club, nss camp were conducts college will helps to conduct technical events if the students are willing most of the students were interested in all these events and participates.

Fees structure is very feasible. 20000 for each semester total 120000 for full course tthe SC/ST, OBC and minority students need not to pay the fees they will get stipends and other fee concessions for exams and others other students need to pay 20000 for each semester.

The various banks provide loans for studying in our college many of my friends avail loans from State bank of travancore, Federal Bank etc college provides fees concession for SC/ST, OBC Minority students and provides free laptops for them.

I have a wonderful campus life in my college there is 15 boys and 14 girls in my class. Total 29 students some of them are good in extracurricular activities like singers poets, artists etc .Some of them are very good in coding students from various ethnicity, race, religion were studied together all are very friendly and no issues between us i have got a lot of good friends from college.

The college has no hostel itself the MG University hostel is 8 km away from the college students can get rooms and mess service in the university hostel the fees is very cheap and also fees concession is available for caste wise backward students the food

Seniors was very helpful we get their notes, instructions about the course before they left the college now we are the most seniors of the college now we communicate with Alumni networks and seniors through social network groups .

The course consists of 6 semesters and exams were conducts for each semester after completion of semesters lab exams were conducted for the corresponding subjects after each semester external examiners from different colleges were review the students.

Many of the faculties in our college were Post Graduates and Doctorate holders they have good knowledge about all their subjects and years of professional experience. They were very friendly and good peoples they teaches well they treats students very wel
