IIIT Kota Review

IIIT colleges are a very good option for the CSE program if anyone who is not able to make out into IIT or top NIT colleges for India. My preference of IIT Kanpur but a seat for the CSE program were filled so I applied for IIIT Kota and I was able to gran CSE program seat during my JOSAA counselling. The college has a very good placement record and my decision of IIIT Kota was very good. I learned lots of things during my tenure in college.

The curriculum of the college is the latest and up to date and also follows all the latest industrial regulations. The curriculum properly gives us insight into the coding techniques and covers all the concepts related to computer algorithms and programming language. The curriculum is a proper blend of technical and management knowledge. The college faculty is also very good. The faculty is highly qualified and well experienced. The college faculty have completed their PhD degree course from the top college of India in have very good research work experience too. The faculty ar the one that help us to understand the complex technological terms in simple language.

The internship program of the college is very well designed and we can take part in the college internship program after completing the second year of our course. The internship is paid and the average stipend for the internship is around 56k.

The college placement quality is very good and the college easily competes with the best institute in India in terms of placement quality the college management and placement committee always work together to improve the college placement standards and quality. The highest placement offer of the college was around 43 LPA in the average placement offer is around 16 LPA. More than 120+ companies visit the college campus during the college placement drive.

The college campus life is very good. The college provides a very good environment for studies. The college also organises the annual fest by the name Flair Fiesta. The college library is the house of many academics and non-academics books and many bestseller books are also available in the college library from around the world and the plus point is that many international research journals are also available. The college classrooms are fitted with digital boards and the classrooms are very spacious and properly ventilated.

I did not take the hostel facility as I was staying in a rented apartment which cost me around 8000 rent per month. The apartment was approx 15 km away from the college. The apartment was good and we can find PG rented rooms in Kota very easily on a reasonable budget too.
