it has very structured academic block peacefull envirorment.

Course Curriculum Overview

i wanted this course since i wanted thrill in my life everyone was saying it is difficult so ichose it to experience it. curriculum is very structured and easily understandable by students they even provided references for revision.

Internships Opportunities

all indian companies come here for placements while for interships nvdia recuirts more students from here ,roles are assigned by our choice and we learn about corporate culuture from them a stipend of 1 lakh is expected.

Placement Experience

from fifth and sixth students become eligible for interships, maximum all indian compaines come here in campus placements , for global jobs we have to apply off campus.highest package this year is 51 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

For first year the fees is 3.9lakhs while from second year it is around 2 lakhs ,it is mandotory to pay fees first before joinig it .while fees of my room mates is also somewhat same it may differ in only in thousands.i was applicale for a scholarship of amount of 2 lakhs.

Campus Life

for all festivals they give holidays except navartri,library is not maintained well i mean it has books but they are in lower quantity if everyone starts to take one book there will no books left for other students and novels are only 3 books i think so i checked it yesterday.

Hostel Facilities

facilities provided by hostel by room is good but it is on less i mean there are everything made for only three people while four students have to live there.mess food quality is below average you can also find about it in youtube.

Admission

i didnt applied for any other college since it was the only college i was applicable with my jee score.only by writing jee mains exam we cam come here ,the cutoff is relatively lower compared to other collegs.

Faculty

the faclty to student ratio is around 1:27 ,a mentor is provided for a certain group of children for any problems, I like vineeta tiwari mam she is very kind and explains everything clearly and neatly.

Night Life

There is no in timings for hostel for boys while for girls it is around 10pm.hostel provides gym but there are no proper equipment so students go outside gym.cafeteria has all types of food only veg to be clear it closes in night around 2 to 3 am.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario at my college is decent and improving over time. Students usually become eligible for campus placement from 6th or 7th semester . Several companies for different sectors visit the college for recruitment mainly from IT, service and some core sectors . The roles offered are mostly for entry level positions . The average packages offered is around 5-7LPA while the highest can go up to around 8-10LPa depending on company and student performance. Approximately 70-80% students got placement through campus drives.

Placement Experience:

In our college the students are elgible to sit in campus placement from third year , there comes a lot of companies in our college which comes here for placement drive and some for providing internship .Some of the companies that comes in our college are L&T, Deloitte , Capegemini, Reliance , TCS , TCE, Wipro, Infosys, miniorange, Berger paints ,Amazon etc . The highest package from this college is of 44 LPA which was from CSE branch and given by Amazon and the average package ranges around 6.5 LPA for almost every branch . Every year almost 80 percent of students get placed around here and some of them leaves placement for further studies and also some took admission in many premier institutes for getting higher education.

Actual reality of JECRC college from a recently graduated.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are up to the mark. Students become eligible for placements from 6th semesters onwards. Even with recession going on during my time, the placement cell somehow managed to get good recruiters in the college and get a lot of students good offers. More than 160 companies visited to give more than 2000 offers. Highest package was from my class only which was 52 LPA and average was 6.8 LPA. Microsoft offered the highest placement and the profile was software developer. Almost 75 percent students got placed. I have completed my degree and I'm not starting my own thing. Not pursuing this sector anymore.

SUMMARY ABOUT IIIT KOTA

i applied for IIIT BHOPAL, IIIT RANCHI, IIIT PUNE, IIITSONIPAT, MNIT JAIPUR, NITK SURTHAKAL, NIT TRICHY, NIT AGARTALA, NIT SILCHAR, NIT DELHI i was getting admission in almost every college but i wanted CSE so i cound'nt go to NIT TRICHY, NITK SURTHAKAL, MNIT JAIPUR, NIT SILCHAR and NIT DELHI since i was not getting CSE in any of these colleges and i didn't want to settle for lower core branches i was CSE in IIIT BHOPAL IIIT SONIPAT but there's no hostel facility so i skipped them i was getting CSE in NIT AGARTALA but i didn't want to go so far away from home in northeast IIIT KOTA had better placement stats than IIIT RANCHI and PUNE so i chose it over them. i faced rejection from multiple college but it was based on my JEE rank. My college take admission only on the basis of JEE and GATE score it's about 98% in jee mains for CSE with GEN category and 97% for ECE and same for AIDE branch there are not much M.TECH students in the college since there's only one specialization there's no exam other than JEE and GATE to get admission in this college...Read More

First of all i applied for this college for the electronics branch that i want and this college provides and for to take the admission in this college you have to give the jee mains exams on the basis of that u will get this college. So sccording to my rank i get this only although i have applied for the other collegs also but didnt get into them because of their cut offs. And another factor is that i choose it because i from rajasthan and this college is also present in this state.
