Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

SC/ St Scholarship, Merit- Cum - Means Scholarship/ State Govt Scholarship.
Campus Life
Overall experience is friendly, collaborative, better exposure to occasional seminars, guest lectures. Though less Clubs and bad infrastructure. Annual and technical festivals - Tarangin - annual culture fest , a multi day event with competition like dance, singing, debates, poster etc Sports meet - 3 day sports event including outdoor and indoor sports. There is a Central Library located in separated building it is small though it hold large collection of books and research oriented study material. Two main building - Old building and new building , plus seprate department block/ building for Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical. Labs and workshops are present for most subjects across all departments. Wifi access and It infrastructure exist. No air conditioning and no auditorium. Sport and extracurricular activities include volleyball, small ground for that. And no other sports complex. National Cadet Corps - NCC is active. Some clubs like cyber and tech clubs. Not many students run social groups except some which helps in organising fest, or placements - placement cell.
Admission
Chose this college through REAP - Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process, because no other colleges were provinding CSE course. I got no other colleges for CSE as I have applied. But got colleges for other degrees such Engineering College Udaipur, RTU Kota, MBM. Admission process- To get into Btech program- 1. Can participate in REAP Councelling which JEE Main marks. Cut offs - approx. 90 percentile for Genral/ EWS - 75 / OBC - 73 / SC,ST - 35-50. 2. Passed 10+2 board examination with physics, Mathematics, Chemistry as compulsory subjects. Minimum aggregate is 45% for Genral Category. And 40-45% for other. Overall experience is transparent, no special internal test, REAP can be more efficient because of overlapping deadlines. You can have lower board marks but better Jee Marks can get you better branches.
Faculty
The faculty ratio is 1: 25. Total faculties count is nearly 80 across all departments. Faculty are supporting and helpful, they are approachable ,that you can meet them in their cabins, they respond to doubt. Faculty I liked - Dr Jyoti Gajrani(DBMS, Linux, and others)- very supporttive and we'll experienced and a wonderful teacher. Teaches brilliantly and makes student want to learn more. Dislike Sir Vinesh Jain - extra strict about assignment and too slow for course progression. Not a good experience learning with him. Nearly all faculty except few are strict about assignment and deadlines, other that new assistant professors. Many don't cover all parts of syllabus thoroughly. Exams include - internal/ mid term 2 per semesters, - plus practical exams and - lastly semester end exams. Difficulty can go to moderate to difficult. Internal are easier baring few. Around 60% percent pass the all semester exams. Curriculum is still relevant baring few subjects which have no purpose for today's tech stack. Projects are given but not seriously analysed or taken for granted by both students and faculty.
Night Life
No night life - as there is NO HOSTEL for boys, for girls there is as they are allowed to hangout inside campus but are restricted to leave after 5 pm. There is library but it is closed 3 pm. And no gym, no cafeteria. Campus is closed after 5 pm. There is no famous hangout place as, previously mentioned college is seriously lacking in infrastructure and parks/grounds.
