Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET), Alwar was established in 2005 under IET Group of Institutions. It was the first self-financed college of Rajasthan and is promoted by the All India Society for Advance Education & Research (AISAER), New Delhi. It is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

• It is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi and National Foundation for Corporate Governance (NFCG), New Delhi.
• It is also an ISO 9001-2000 Certified Institute. It’s sprawling campus spread over an area of 10 acres and located at RIICO Matsya Industrial Area, Alwar, in the sylvan surrounding of Aravali Hills and woods.
• It is approximately, 160 kms from New Delhi via Gurgaon-Dharuhera-Tijara-Alwar Route & Approx. 150 kms from Jaipur.

• Tech-Ecstasy - A four days annual function organised by the institute, witnesses a wide variety of various cultural and academic competitive events. These competitions includes group dance, solo songs, theme shows etc.
• Navayaam - is a welcome party to newcomer students and is meant for interaction between seniors and freshers. In this event all the newcomers showcase their talents in guidance of their seniors.
