Remarks
Any student who has passed 12th class with more than 60%(General) and more than 55%(SC,ST,PWD) and are more not more than 20 yrs old(general) and not more than 25 years old(SC,ST,PWD) can apply for the examination. The application form, application fees, and application dates can be found on IIM Indore's official website. The admission process is already very good. No improvements required.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course because of its diverse curriculum. Most of the faculty members are PHDs and they take interactive sessions. Term Exams happen once in every 3 months and they are of moderate level.
Internships Opportunities
6 to 8 moths long Social Internships are offered after Term 6, i.e., after 2nd Year. CSRs of Reputed Companies like Aditya Birla, Jindal Stainless Limited, and Tech Mahindra offer internships. A two month internship is offered for various domains like consulting, marketing, HR, etc. Some companies which came were Cipla, Amazon and Capgemini.
Placement Experience
Students get placed in their 4th or 5th term of PGP. Following Companies visited the campus - Accenture Strategy, KPMG, Goldman SACHS, Avendus Capital, Bank of America, Barclays, Credit Suisse, CRISIL, D.E. Shaw, Deutsche Bank Highest package - Rs.50 Lakhs Average Package - Rs. 25 Lakhs 100% Placements I want to work as a Consultant.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
I dont know about the Fee hike policy but the fees has not increased in last 2 to 3 years I didnt get any scholarship, financial assistance, or job till now but the college offers social internships at the end of 2nd year, summer internships after 4th year. Need Based Financial Assistance is also available.
Campus Life
The Annual Fests are Ranbhoomi and Atharv. They are conducted in October and March respectively. Library has a large collection of books and journals. We also get free subscriptions of various newspapers. We can also demand for books which are not there and we usually get it. Classrooms are well equipped with 2 projector screens, computers, air conditioners. We have place and resources for every sport like cricket, football, table tennis, etc There are many clubs run by students under Students Activity Council(SAC).
Interview Experience
I faced Interview for the selection. The interview includes a wide range of questions from GK, academics, etc. The interviewer tries to test your intelligence, communication skills, and presence of mind. I prepared by reading newspaper regularly and also revising my academics.
