Remarks

Admission process was not much hard or harsh. I just got cleared the wbjee exam with the rank of arounf 21k then applied for IT branch in this college through wbjee counselling during first round i got select from this college after that i locked my choice and verified my documents with counselling office physically after that i got a date for admission process in college and on that date i verified all documents once again and fill up the admission form and after the proper admission my college get started withing 10-15 days as i remebered.

I chose this course because i like the IT industry and wanted to work with IT industry. in my department faculty is around 10-14 and student is around 360 in all four year 60 in each year. the qualification of most of the faculty is mtech and phd ... the faculties are very helpful adn very sweet.

Placement Experience

Placment is very god infact last year placement was a great great placement where many new MNc joined our college and take our seniors at most very big level i am very satisfied with my placement cell they are just a another level persons.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is very compatiable not much high or not much low. its medium level fee and a upper middle class family can easil pay the fee. i didnt got any scholarship butcurrently i am studying through student education loan

Campus Life

Name of annual fest is ELIXIR and it is very very popular in my city as my college celebrate it at his most level and availablity of books in library is just awesome and anyhow if it is not available then it will get availbale within a week and online library is very very helful. the amenities in classrooms are fans,desk, whilte boards and many mor thing.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is also very good. as i stay in hostel so i can assure you you will get best seniors from this college and will enjoy your real life of your whole life. and mela quality is medium but you will get fish and egg 5 days and chicken 2 days which i think is best .

Hostel Fee: INR 72000 per year

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

I appeared for an entrance exam and I got a seat for CSE (data science) course at Techno International New Town. But I filled upgradation form and went for round 2. And I got a seat for Information Technology course at B. P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology. So I took admission in this college rather than taking risks of going to round 3. At our college students can get admission by giving entrance exams like JEE Mains and WBJEE. Cutoffs for different courses vary every year.
