College is good but placements need to be improved.

The cutoff list can be viewed as there is a merit-based admission process. The best of four subjects percentage is used in the cutoff. Certain subjects like B. Sc. (H) Computer Science use best of four subjects percentage for admission into college. The admission form can be filled out online. But in 2019, the form should also be filled from college offline. Reservation benefits include some relaxation in the cutoff.

I chose this course like computer science is a very good subject. Its demand is increasing day by day due to the advancement in technology. The faculty was assigned as 1 teacher for 60 students approximately. The ratio was 1:60. The qualifications of the faculty were different. Some teachers were MCA qualified while some were Ph.D. holders. Examinations were scheduled according to the academic calendar. All the processes were on time. If you have attended the lectures then it was easy to pass in the exams.

Paytm and some other companies offer internship opportunities. Internships were of different durations according to the company criteria. The stipend was around 2000 Rs. I didn't complete an internship. So I do not have any idea about the projects.

From 5th semester students became eligible for placements. Companies like Wipro, Wise Finserv, and Phronesis visited. Wipro offered 18 students while all others offered very few students. The highest was 4.6 LPA but the average was 2.5 lpa. Only 2-3% of students were placed. I want to pursue MCA further.

The fees of B. Sc. (H) Computer Science is almost double as compared to all other courses. Fees was hiked like Rs 3000 increment per year. I got no scholarship and not a job on campus. Some students got financial assistance but it was almost negligible. Only Rs 2000 assistance.

Technical fest by our department was conducted every year in January. Annual fest Karavan was also conducted every year. Books can be issued through the library when it was offline but library resources were not available when classes were online. SRG Classrooms were fully air-conditioned and some rooms were ventilated with fans. Different sports were also there in offline. Coaches came for different sports. DUSU was Delhi University Students Union run by students of DU for students

Fans were provided and if you want a cooler also then you have to pay extra for a cooler. A chair and study table along with a single bed were provided in the hostel room. Meals were good and they were planned according to the timetable of meals. Even fast foods were also provided in breakfast along with milk and bread. Form for the hostel was to be taken from the college. List for hostel accommodation was issued by college authorities. The hostel was costly when compared to flats. I didn't rent a room or PG. I was only in the hostel and then lockdown was announced.
