Remarks

After 12th you have to score good percentile in jee mains. you here to score above 98percentile for general category. If you belongs to other category then go on the josaa site and check the closing and opening rank of iiit Pune. For examination application form is on jee official website.

Course Curriculum Overview

If you want to become a good coder and after graduation a good placement then it is a better option for you. All teachers are very helpful and humble. One more best thing about college is its location. Pune is a good city.

Pune is its hub. The internship is very very good. The college was established in 2016 and the college has grown exponentially. This year almost every students get an internship from a large no. of companies. I will rate 8 out of 10 for internship

If you maintain a good cgpa (7+). And attendance 75? during the course then you definitely get decent placement. This year all eligible students get placed with avg package of 14 lac. And 100? internships provided by college.

Fees and Financial Aid

College does not provide any kind of scholarship. But you will get a scholarship from Maha DBT scholarship(only for Maharashtra students). And if you are from another state then you can apply for a central scholarship or state scholarship.

Campus Life

Seniors are very helpful. Here are many kinds of clubs like bit legion and e-cell. Mostly any type of quiz happens in college. a social group is well. All students behave like friends. Campus life is very very good

Hostel Facilities

At the time of admission, you will get a hostel form. You have to pay the hostel fee and you will get the key to the room. Hostels are very clean and the fee is not too much only 29000 for one year. Which is lower in comparison to other iiits

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. This College was on my top priority as It is in the city Pune . The Emerging IT city in India . As the Name is IIIT it also attracts me . At the time of Counselling i have filled Branches in ECE of NIT and CS of IIIT . Initially i was alloted IIIT Bhopal but inn the 5th round IIIT Pune was alloted . My Parent was happy as Pune is Nice city. My College Infrastructure is Good but not as expected. If we compare my College to Private than it is far Good and all the facilites are nice. Yeah we can say that we are new but we can say that we are not less than New NIts. For Entrance in IIIT Pune You need to qualify the JEE Main Exam with Good Percentile. My experience of iiit pune

I also applied to cse at IIIT jabalpur and allahbad, and chemical engineering at nit Warangal but I couldn't get a seat there. I was also getting ece in iiit jabalpur and cse in spit mumbai but I decided to take iiit pune cse over it.
