Remarks

The admission process was basically online and the admission form was available on the college website itself. Eligibility was minimum 60% in all the subjects and the merit list was published according to the gained percentage. The website is not well optimized and not much easy to operate.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose B.Com(Hons) because I needed to finish my Graduation in Commerce. The students per class are quite large as there are approx. 100 students in a single section and there are approx. 5 sections every year. Currently, the teaching is going through online mode but I attended the offline class and it was quite understandable. The exams are going to be held and as I had heard from others the exams are quite competitive and everyone has to work hard.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Each semester requires 5000 admission fees and there is a total of 6 semesters. I got Ramkrishna Vivekananda Scholarship from my college and still, there is no on-campus placement available right now but in the future, there will be more and more opportunities as things will get normal.

Campus Life

The annual fest is conducted in December and College has its library and all books are available and everyone can borrow them through the college for study purposes, Other curricular activities like dancing, music, singing, and sports are also held in our college every year and students participate in these activities. Union of City College of Commerce and Business Administration is the social group for students run by students.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

Placement Experience:

At our college placements are good and many core companies or finance and IT are here for placements and intenrships as well. Average placements from what I have checked is around 4-5 lakhs per year for B.Com (Hons) students.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . Placement Experience:

In our college generally students get placement before the last semester exam. Lot of companies visits our college and give many placement offer opportunities to the students. The highest package was 6 - 7 LPA and on average it generally ranging from 2 to 3 LPA. I actually appiled for Bhawnipore Educational Society College and Jaipuria College other than this college and i got selected in Bhawnipore college. I choosed this college as the fees are very low compared to other colleges and the distance of the college from my home is short. In Jaipuria I couldn't make it for high cut offs and this is the only reason. As a CA student i want a college where attendance doesn't matter for us, and this college is perfect for it. They doesn't ask for attendance and we only visit college when we need to appear at our college exams. Before taking admission in CCCBA i applied for Umesh chandra university which is the same college but it runs in morning and our college runs in the evening in the same building and same college. Yes, i got rejected in umesh chandra university because of my class 12th percentage. Admission process of our college is simple you can apply from our college website and and after some time they'll release merit list and if your name is in merit list it means you got selected and you can pay the college fees and that's it.
