IIIT Delhi Review

IIIT Delhi is a state-level university. The institute is accredited"A" grade by NAAC and is affiliated by UGC. the college is popular for its CSE program and for its education standards. The candidate must clear GATE and must secure a minimum of 65% marks in graduation (60% for Sc/ST/PWD/OBC/CW students). You can fill the application form online from the official website of the college by paying a fee of Rs. 510/-. I opted for IIIT Delhi because I am from Delhi and the college is popular for its academic studies and placement record.

The curriculum of the program is a proper balance of case studies, thesis, theoretical knowledge and research, and practical knowledge. The curriculum is designed to impart students to develop student analyzing skills and decision-making skills to build future corporate leaders. The curriculum follows all international industrial standards.

The internship program is part of the curriculum. Students are free to choose from the in-house and off-campus internship programs. The stipend ranges from Rs. 15000/- to Rs. 65000/- depending according to the tenure of your internship program. If you are lucky enough then you can receive pre-placement offers during your internship tenure. The college placement cell is very helpful and cooperative that provides you with the list of companies and the number of interns needed by the company.

The college has a 100% placement record. The college placement cell is professional and supportive and they guide us during the placement tenure. During our batch placement drive, around 120+ companies visited the campus. The highest package went up to 25 LPA and the average package was around 16 LPA. I also received a package of 18 LPA from Microsoft which was like dream come true. Companies like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Tower Research Capital, Mercedes Benz, Amazon, Google, Infosys, Wipro, etc visited our campus during the placement drive.

The college does not have any scholarship program. But students can opt for education loans and college admission staff will help them out during the education loan process. Students who have qualified GATE exam are provided with a stipend by AICTE of Rs. 12500/- approx.

The campus life of the college is good. Most of the student time is consumed by study and students also utilize their time by studying. The college also organizes fests called Odyssey-cultural fest, Esya-tech fest. The college also celebrates every festival of India like Holi is also celebrated, Dandiya Night is one of the most awaited events for college students. The library is equipped with all types of academic and non-academic books from almost all types of authors.

The hostel is equipped with modern facilities. The hostel rooms are available on a triple sharing, double sharing, and single occupancy basis. You can choose the room according to your budget. The rooms are equipped with centralised AC and heaters. The AC is used in peak summer and the heaters are used in the peak winter night. The mess food quality is good and hygenic. The hostel rooms are equipped with a bed, study table and almirah for each student. The hostel also has 24 hours high-speed WiFi connectivity.

The faculty of the college is highly experienced and they also have industrial exposure which is very beneficial for students. they motivate students to take part in extra-curricular activities. The faculties of the college guide students in their research work also. The faculty are so dedicated that they help students to identify their weak points and help them to convert them into strong points.
