Life and scope at NIT Delhi

Everything is good. This college became like second home as it gave me knowledge, confidance, and great friends. This college will be among top NITs because of its delhi advantage and new campus facility.

This course consist of two years out of which one year is for studying varius subjects and another whole year is dedicated for research, internships, project etc. The experience here was chilled as all the facilities are supportive and friendly.

There is less placement opportunities for mechanical branch because here we will be starting b.tech program for mechanical engineering from this year only. But other branches have good placement, I would say excellent placement. This year LnT and Arceller Mittal came for placement drive for mechanical engineering. 5 intern selected in Arceller Mittal along with one placement.

We organise every year a cultural fest as SAPTRANG and enjoy a lot. We also organise one sports fest as ZEAL in March month of every year.we celebrate all religious festivals like holi diwali, Eid, Christmas and many more.

Fee Structure is feasible and there is special consessions and scholarship for needy students. The fee includes tuition fees, exam fees, placement fees, and many others as hostel fee, mess fee, extra curricular activities charges etc.

Various scholarship are offered to students some of them are government sponsored and some of them are privately sponsered. As loan facilities are also available in near by all the banks as well and they helps to study students in need.

We have basketball court, kabbadi court, vollyball court, table tanis facilities but due to space constraints we don't have athletics track till now. But after shifting in new campus we wil be having a new athletics groin5.

Being a new NIT we are running in other institute's campus so we have two separate hotels and facilities are average with food. But soon we will be shifting in new campus and everything will be fine. Many students leave in nearby pg which changes around 8000 to 9000. Some students stay in DDA flats as well.

All seniors are like elder brother or sisters and there is no ragging in college premises. Seniors guide us and they are very helpful in all manners. We have used social media platform to connect with alumnies.

There is a common entrance exam for admission in M.Tech course called as GATE. after clearing gate there is CCMT counseling process of 3 round and one NSR round ( National spot round). I opted this course becouse this course have huge job opportunities in market.

Our college faculties are well qualified and some of them are scientist and some from foreign universities or IITians. They have good knowledge of subjects and teach us well. They are interactive and explain everything in detail.
