Remarks

I got my admission on a merit basis in 2017 through the last cutoff i.e., 12th cutoff, which was 85%. The admission process was smooth, I got my admission approved in the required time. Documents got verified and my admission was confirmed, paid the fees once the payment link got activated.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was from a commerce background, so i wanted to go with the same feild, for this, i chose B Com. In our batch, there were two sections each with 60 students each and one or two faculties for each subject. Faculties are well qualified and their teaching methods are awesome. Exams are on semester basis in between there were internals too, in which class tests were conducted. And, level of all the exams and class test was medium, one can easily pass the exam if she has given full attention in class time.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 3500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee Structure of the BCom program course, in which I got admitted was very economical. Like I had paid around 3,500- 4,000 per year. So it was around 12,000 for all three years of the course. And this amount of fees are affordable for every section of society.

Campus Life

In our college, the annual fest is arranged by the President of our college along with the students and faculty members, usually in the month of February. Books and journals related to the curriculum is easily available in the library. Photocopy shop is also in the campus. Extracurricular activities are also performed in the college, different clubs are made by the students of colleges they head them and arrange all the activities, events related to them on various occasions. Annual sports day is also held in the college.

Underrated College of DU!

Placement Experience:

Students from 3rd year onwards may sit for placements. There are several companies visiting our college for placements, such as Zomato, Tech Mahindra, EY, MagicPin, etc. My plans after getting the degree personally include pursuing a PG degree.

It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college.The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .

Why DU has the best college life

Placement Experience:

SPMCW is Special!!

I applied at colleges such as LSR and Gargi purely because they were also girls colleges and are above ranked than my college. In DU though a proper merit system works and in that merit my score couldn't get admission in those two colleges.
