Remarks

The admission process in the entire Delhi University colleges is now online due to COVID-19. The online process of applying and getting admission is so fantastically designed that there are no chances of any partiality or anything.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty in Acharya Narendra Dev College is just Awesome. I can proudly say that the faculty in ANDC is the best in the entire Delhi university colleges. ANDC have very experienced Professors. There are hardly some teachers who have less than 25 Years of experience in teaching Otherwise mostly teachers have over 25 years of teaching experience in Delhi University. And the Curriculum of B.com (Hons) is strictly based on UGC.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, there are so many internships which our college provide to the students in collaboration with Internshala or other internship platforms. Internships in the retail sector or many more to do. Many students got internships in their 2nd year of college and many students got internships in their 1st year too. So it's up to the student will of doing an internship.

Placement Experience

Oh, so This is one of the two things where ANDC lacks. The Placement at Acharya Narendra Dev College is not so good. But there is one positive thing about placements in ANDC and that is Mostly the students who get placed is from our Course B.com (Hons) but if we see overall placement reports the college performance in campus recruitment is not that much good as compared with other Delhi University Colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

As Acharya Narendra Dev College comes under Delhi University so the fees are very minimal. Around 6000-7000 per year is the fee for B.com (Hons) in ANDC. Campus Life

The fantastic crowd is near Acharya Narendra Dev College because the location of ANDC is in Govindpuri which is a very good and crowded area in New Delhi. Students from many states like Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Bihar, Kerala etc. are in ANDC.

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, people say that B.Com doesn't have a great scope to it, I feel like there are many life lessons that we are taught during our college years. Since the introduction of NEP 2020, there has been a rather great emphasis on practical learning. In our college, we are asked for presentations and group projects to promote learning and communication. The presence of SEC and VAC also helps you develop your soft skills, groom your personality and live a happy and healthy life. Exams are help at the end of every semester. There are a few guides and PYQs with the help of which a student can prepare for these exams. They are relatively easy in my opinion and do not require extreme efforts. Overall, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to learn so many things.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose b.Com because I am from a commerce background. It is an open college class held only on Sundays classrooms are good but washrooms are average. Teachers are experienced and well-educated. Exams are held on every 6 months semester wise you have to study hard to clear exams.

College life in Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC), DU

This college was no.1 in my CUET preference list. I did few other courses for safer side but this course as well college was my top choice as it covers a lot of areas which are taught in MBBS and is quite interesting. Delhi University has 3 colleges for Biomedical Sciences, in which ANDC is the top college in terms of ranking that's why out of all three colleges this was my first choice. A few other options that I kept for me was microbiology, biochemistry in colleges such as Gargi and Deshbandhu. The college accepts your scores from CUET in subjects biology, chemistry and physics. The acceptance is done on the basis of your scores as well as your preference list. As this college was first on my preference list, I didn't get to face any rejection. The cutoffs for my admission year of 2024 was around 425+ for general category....Read More
