Remarks
There were 5 cut-offs out of which if you have the minimum criteria of percentage, you can apply for admission. For eg, I had 90% in class 12 and when the first cut-off was released, the minimum percentage to apply was 90, so I applied and got my admission done. Everything was online and you could find the application form on the official website of Delhi University. The admission process was easy for me but some people did face some challenges to get through the "pay fees" part.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BA in English and political science because I want to pursue masters abroad after completing my graduation from DU. The faculty is really good, they have tried their best to teach us with whatever is available as DU has not opened once after covid started. Student ratio is almost equal I would say. The faculty is well qualified and get to sought new ways to teach us or make us understand some aspects. Term exams are always on time and they're not very difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
There are many students who have done their internship from college, some companies do provide you with a performance-based stipend and sometimes it even gets you to work under their company as they promote you from an intern to an employee
Placement Experience
From the 5th semester, people are eligible for the placement cell. Many companies visit, 80-90% of students do get placed. My plan after getting the degree is to go for my post-graduation abroad and will most probably settle in there.
Fees and Financial Aid
My course is very affordable, it's just 7,000 per annum. Delhi University has college fee ranging from 5,000-15,000(p.a) You can choose according to your stability. There are reservations for every class and the percentage are reduced to apply. There is no job on campus with stipend
Campus Life
Life of students at the campus is really good. Tons of fests are organised and they are organised from the month of dec to mar. All kinds of books are available in the library, in fact the library is really big and well managed. There are a lot of societies in this college starting from cultural to academic to ABVP elections. Cultural societies include western dance, folk dance, theatre, fashion, photography, and music society. Then there is enactus, abhivanjana and many more clubs
