Remarks

The course is very good and its eligibility is Commerce stream in 12th. Both online and online admissions are available and the semester fees are 3990 per semester. After filling the admission form applicants need to verify their documents through an online process.

I chose the course because the course is very much future proof for business purposes and I was interested in the course. There are almost 240 students and 12 teachers of various subjects present in the college. The teachers are very well qualified and their teaching quality is very good and easy to understand by the students. There happen 2 internal exams each semester and they are easy to pass if students attend classes regularly.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 7500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is also very good, which is 3990/- for the 1st semester and 509/- before the exam. After this, in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th semesters they will charge 2800/- per semester only for admission, and 300/- is taken as an exam fee. Every student with 75% marks can apply for Scholarships ( SVMCM Scholarship, Nabanna Scholarship, etc).

Campus Life

Every year, students organize an annual function in the college in December. The library stocks are very good and students get books from the library each semester according to their semester subjects. The classrooms are very good and clean. Annual Inter-college sports are also held every year during the winter season and there happen many cultural programs on many occasions also in the college.

Placement Experience:

Idk but i guess students become eligible from 2nd or 3rd sem. Idk what is the company visited but the placements are very good i heard that, avg package varies 2.4 lpa I guess. Right now i am doing internship so as of now i don't have plans.

Most of the students also get placement opportunities whether large or small package The opportunity is given to all degree whether it be bcom or bcom hons . The course curriculum is backdated and should be improvised as it doesn't give any exposure of present industry knowledge. The frequency of exams is that exams are held after 6 months on semester basis and are easy to pass and majority of the students pass this semester easily.

Quite an Average Government College which lacks in infrastructure, faculty, and placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I mentioned, the course curriculum is outdated and no new industry knowledge is being taught. Projects and assignments are also bookish and are just for sake. Teaching methods by teachers are also bookish and backward. The frequency of exams are after every 6 months and are pretty manageable and easy.

The Honest statements about Burdwan Raj College.

1. I also applied for Bishnupur Ramananda college and I also got a seat there but i choose this college because of it's NAAC grading which is B++ ,but the system and universities pressure are on another level than that college. 2. I also applied to some well known colleges but i couldn't make it cause I had science stream in +2, which is a lot disadvantage and also I don't had very good marks in my +2. 3. The admission process is totally Merit base , like they will qualify you by checking your marksheet of +2 and they'll give you merit score and by that you can get an admission but the registration method is so much time holding which i discussed before....Read More
