Remarks
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any field. International candidates must have a GMAT score while domestic candidates must have cleared the CAT exam. Admission for PGPM is a 2 stage process. Phase 1: Initial shortlisting which is on the basis of CAT score. The cutoff is 85 percentile, I scored 88 percentile in CAT. WAT and PI round is the second phase. Applicants 10th and 12th should be above 80%. Applicants also need to submit 2 confidential letters from the respective candidates' employers or teachers.
Course Curriculum Overview
My piqued interest in the field of business administration and strategic management prompted me to pursue this course. Excellent professors with Ph.D. and industrial experience of more than 10-15 years. All the faculties are well educated and qualified. they are very approchable and have a fantastic teaching style. it is easier to pass exams with good gardes with well-taught prepaprations. As a result, it's been fantastic for me since I have aced almost every exam since I have paid close attention during lectures.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship are available to applicants with a family income of INR 6 Lakhs. Students who are financially disadvantaged can also apply for a scholarship. Applicants would receive aid ranging from 100% to 80% to 60% or 40% and even 20% depending on the financial aid committee's decision. Around 40% of IIM B's PGP students have the opportunity to participate in exchange programs at partner institutions. While on an exchange program, applicants must earn a minimum of 12-15 credits. While on an exchange, a minimum of 120 hours must be completed. The average salary offered is not less than 30 lakhs. Companies like TCS, Microsoft, Google, Uber, Philips are the top recruiter at IIM B.
Campus Life
IIM Bangalore's campus life is both productive and vibrant. The campus library is one of the best features of the college, and as a voracious reader, I spend the majority of my time there. The institute not only excels in academics but also allows students to participate in as many extracurricular activities as they desire. IIM B's sport facilities are worth taking advantage of. Furthermore, the college provides a wifi connection throughout the campus. There is also an on-campus gym. The cultural fest of IIM B is Eximius. The campus is, without a doubt, not only beautiful but also a healthy and productive environment for students.
