Remarks

The college is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University which is very famous within India and Internationally as well. The college has a very good architecture which creates an environment to study. The university has an International Rank of 400 - 500 among many educational institutions across the globe. The university is popular known as the Oxford of East due to it's Education.

Course Curriculum Overview

Each and every faculty has done Masters in various domains and many faculty members are doing their PhD's as well. I like to study the computer and mechanical related stuff which made me to choose my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. Every faculty has its own method to teach and they teaches students using various methods like with ppt etc. The exams are scheduled by Pune University within every one months and to pass the exams student has to study a lot to get a good score.

The fees can be given in easy installments and yes the college provides various scholarships. In some cases college also gives financial benefits to the students and there is a campus placement cell which is specifically dedicated to the job placements and the college claims 100 % placement within 4 years.

Campus Life

Campus life is very good and the student really enjoys the college life. The library offers various kinds of books and it also has a study room where the student can study and concentrate. Sorry but there are no clubs. Regarding sports college has grounds and supports almost all the extracurricular activities.

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. I have taken admission by qualifying the cet exam by 93 pecentile . The college gives admission through cet exams. The admission process is through CAP round if ur score is above 93 for girls and for boys the cut off is around 94 percentile and reduces according to category. If ur alloted with the college u have to pay full fees alloted to your category if you dont have the required category documents you will have to pay the full fees at the time of admissions .
