On the basis of wbjee rank i got this college.actually B. P PODDAR is a good callege that's why I choose this college because. In this college we offered good knowledge. And also placement of this college is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus was good. And also the teachers. Faculty of the college are so brilliant. Specifically physics. All the faculty are so qualified and experienced. That's why the placement in the college is good

Placement Experience

Placements are quite good for this college because. In this college the companies like infosis. Vipro. Amazon are came here for the placement. For the job we must have knowledge about the coding. Like c. Python etc

College Events

Everything is good in my college. In every occasion there is a cultural fest will organise.And everyone can participate in this.And also the senior of the college will arrange the freshers party for juniors

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

I appeared for an entrance exam and I got a seat for CSE (data science) course at Techno International New Town. But I filled upgradation form and went for round 2. And I got a seat for Information Technology course at B. P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology. So I took admission in this college rather than taking risks of going to round 3. At our college students can get admission by giving entrance exams like JEE Mains and WBJEE. Cutoffs for different courses vary every year.
