This institution provides distance learning options and correspondence courses which we can do simultaneously with other courses or jobs and that too at a very affordable price. I am doing a job and also wanted to complete my Masters in political science at the same time, so chose this university as it the best in the entire capital region.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty members in this institute are not present although the staff is quite cooperative and helpful. They sometimes organise special classes which are optional for you to attend, but they are quite helpful.The course curriculum is thorough, and we sometimes get books through post at our address for preparation. While some books are to be taken from the centre itself. Overall, the system is very smooth and organized.
Placement Experience
Placements are not possible in this college as it is an open university. But students can go for off-campus placements after completing their degree from this university. However you get messages from institution sometimes for placements and interviews depending on your qualifications and eligibility.
College Events
It's a great place to pursue degree courses without attending classes regularly besides a job or any other work. Since it's an open university, no extra curricular activities take place for the students to participate in. There's not much crowd as classes are not conducted regularly.However, every year our university conducts a one-month classroom programme to provide insight into the course and the questions which can be asked in the upcoming examinations to help students to get prepared for final examination papers.
Campus Life
Our college infrastructure is good. The library is huge, has many books related to various disciplines and is Wifi enabled. Some classrooms have digital learning system. Canteen along with medical facility is also available. There are no facility for hostel, sports and games as it is open University.
