Remarks
This college is situated nearly to my home.I had an attachment to my hometown and some people so i can't go distant for actually its an institute,a small institute.Nothing more in there.Minimized campus area.Less number of students.No programs.
Course Curriculum Overview
I believe the curriculum is very well planned and organised, so as to challenge students at each level. We also had seminars where we could present our research papers at the degree level. The faculty is very well read and qualified.
Internships Opportunities
I did, but i didnt avail the same through the placement cell
Placement Experience
There are a lot of job opportunities for students pursuing Economics, BMS, and so forth. However, there aren't many openings for students pursuing literature and sociology and other pure arts subjects
College Events
The only thing i had enjoyed is the capus events and activities. They are not so big. Small programs with a small number of students. But that not matters, happiness can be find from anywhere
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers multiple scholarships to students who perform well. The college also offers scholarships to student who need financial aid. There is a student development fund which has often helped students pay for academic expenses that they had trouble with otherwise.
Campus Life
The campus has a gothic and scenic infrastructure from the early British era. The library is huge, infact there are two libraries with a plethora of books on a multitude of subjects. The college has a gymkhana for sports, along with a basket ball court and a volleyball court. There is an audio-visual library and a learning centre to aid students. The centre for the visually challenged students is absolutely wonderful and has aided many of my friends in studying better.
Hostel Facilities
There is a boys hostel in Xaviers, a facility that isnt too easy to attain. The facility is available only to first year and third year students. There is room sharing on the basis of 3 in a room or 2 in a room. However, there are many PGs in the vicinity as affordable rates.
