Remarks
The admission process was so simple. First of all, you should have 6/6 eyesight after that you have to pass a medical check up, by Dg approved doctors. You can find the application form on the college official website i.e. (www.chitkara.edu.in)and register yourself there.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I like to face adventure and love to travel and this field has both qualities. Our classrooms are fully air conditioned and The Faculty: student ratio is 1:31. All the faculty members are well qualified they have more than 30 years of sailing experience. And they all use the modern way of teaching. There are Exams after every 3 months which was quite easy to clear.
Internships Opportunities
Fleet management, Synergy, scorpion tankers and many more companies have come for the placement. The companies which provide placement will give a stipend for the onboard training and this stipend may vary from company to company.
Placement Experience
Our university placements stats are very good. Many big leading companies have come for the placement. In our course, placement has taken place in the last year i.e. 3rd year. Students with 100% attendance are eligible to sit in the placement exam for the company. Shipping companies like fleet management scorpion tankers and many have come for placement, and the placement stats are 100%.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fee structure is like this:- Admission / Reg Fees -10,000. Annual Tuition Fees - 1,60,000. Uniform - 20,000. Books & Stationery -10,000. Hostel- 1,14,000. Mess Charges- 30,000. Laundry- 6,000. Total (Annual Fees)- 3,50,000. There is a Scholarship for this course. We can apply for a loan from any nationalized bank. The college will provide a loan slip for the loan.
Campus Life
College life is very good in our university. There any many techs, annual fest science clubs and Dj nights that took place every month. Also, there is a huge sized library in the university. Also, there is a Football ground, basketball courts, volleyball courts, tennis courts and many more indoors or outdoors games available in the college. There are many clubs in our university like happiness clubs, startup hubs and much more.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is also quite good. There are 2 sharing rooms with common bathrooms and toilets. And there is tt table available on every floor. And also the mess food is also very good. And the menu keeps changing after every 6 months.
