Remarks

You are eligible for this course if you have passed your 10+2 with any stream successfully. You need to give an entrance exam for taking admission. Then DU will release cut offs. You can find the application forms on DU official site. Also, all the details regarding it will be there.

Course Curriculum Overview

This is an elementary education course & I wanted to become a teacher that's why I choose this course. Teachers are so friendly like you will not even think that they are your teachers and all the faculty members are so nice. All the teachers are well qualified, all of them have done PhD. And their way of teaching is amazing. We only have two exams i.e. half yearly and finals.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 19000 per year

Internships Opportunities

In this course, the college provides a proper internship program in the 4th year. Not only that but also in 1st year there's a subject known as SCP i.e. School Contact Program in that you need to teach one topic to a class once a week and mostly that is Friday.

Placement Experience

4th year students are eligible for placement. As per the information they say it’s 100% placement, but placement depends on the student also that how he/she is doing in studies and submission of assignments and all.

Fees and Financial Aid

In comparison to other colleges, I think this is so affordable and the infrastructure is also well maintained. College do provide financial aids to the neediest person. The forms are filled and some details are asked through that form and then the faculty decide who are the most needy students. There's not much of the financial aid, it’s like 6k-7k provided to some students only.

Campus Life

Currently, studies are going in online mode so can't really say about campus life. But ya I have visited my college & it’s so beautiful and eco friendly. You'll get to see a lot of cats there. The library is so big and amazing and so many books are available there. No idea about sports because of the online mode. And there are a lot of societies and clubs like adventure club, photography club, debate club, dance society, music society and many more.

Poor infrastructure, average faculty and not-so-happening campus life

Placement Experience:

Students in B.ed course become eligible to take jobs in the last semester i.e 4th semester. The college does not provide any placement in our course instead students themself have to mail and contact different schools to secure a teching job. Average package a student can expect depends on many factors like their subjects, qualifications and skills. On an average one can expect around 6lpa in private sector. For securing jobs in government schools Students have to clear exams like DSSSB etc where average package ranges from 10 -12 lpa. Many of my seniors are doing jobs in private schools as techers while some teach online and have their you tube channels. I am planning to do masters in English literature from DU to increase my knowledge and job opportunities.
