Remarks
The students of PCB are applicable for this course at the University of Delhi. The students having PCMB in their 12th will get 3% relaxation in the cut-off released by respective colleges of the University of Delhi. The four colleges at the University of Delhi offer the Food Technology course. The form has to be filled when DU released its application form while fees can be checked on site of respective colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
Food is needed by everyone daily so it is a never-dying profession. Food Technology is a very different and innovative course where you learn the science, engineering behind food. All the packaged food that we see in the market all credit goes to food technologists only. The student-faculty ratio was good. The faculty was well qualified all teachers were having Ph.D. and we're experienced. They also share their experiences. If you study well and attend class regularly so exams will not be very tough for you.
Fees and Financial Aid
Delhi University has very few fees for its courses. The Food Technology is a self-funded course and our college were also not funded by Delhi Government so it has slightly higher fees of around 40,000 per semester. There are some scholarships available for students based on merit holders. There is a placement cell in the college that provides internship and job opportunities regularly.
Campus Life
The college is located in center of South Delhi. In Hauz Khas. The campus connectivity is very nice college is just in front of a metro station. The annual fest of college is Feria which is held in the month of Feb - March. The college library is well equipped with books & journals. Sports & extracurricular activities are also present you can participate in. There are many societies and clubs run by students the dance, theatre, fashion, art, NSS, mental health society, enactus.
