Remarks

Admission was through 12th marks. Procedure was quite smooth. Seniors were very helpful during the procedure. All the procedure took place in the college office. The admission procedure was hassle free.

Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to learn more about accounting after class 12th, so I took admission in BCom(Hons). The faculty was very qualified and it was very easy to communicate with them. Exams were conducted according to Delhi University's provided date.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Placement Experience

After Semester 4 you because eligible for placement. 7-8 companies visited our campus. The average package was 2.5L per annum. 20% of the students got placed. The highest package which was offered was 8 LPA but none of the students was selected.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study was quite nominal. The fees were quite affordable. There weren't many hikes in fees during the three years of my course. Not many job options were available. The placement cell needs lots of improvement.

Campus Life

The annual fest is conducted during Feb or March. Fest is named Tide. There were not many social groups. Only a few were there and it was quite difficult to get into those clubs. The classroom was normal classrooms not with high tech support.

Final year students get eligible for placements. Mahindra,EY,Bain and company, zomato and others Highest package was around 30LPA Average is 5LPA Profiles are mostly data analysis, business development and others. Around 40-50 percent students get placed. I will prepare for UPSC and also apply for placements

WHY SHOULD OPT FOR DU COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

Subjects like Law, Management, HRM and Economics really influence my choice for this course. The law and economics part was really something that garb my attention as well as excite me the most. It really helped in understanding HR policies in depth which helped me really world a lot. The curriculum should include more practical and technical subjects which will help in the corporate world too. The exam timings were usually 2 to 3 hours max. And the exam also doesn't come too hard to pass.

The course ciriculum for bcom is good and covers major aspects like accounts, business law, management,ethics. It help understand the basic concepts and useful for future studies Ciriculum is relevant but somtimes it feel more theory based rather than a practical aprroach. More practical exposure and skill based subjects can be added There might be some needed improvement in teaching as we learn account's and management it feels boring teacher can make it interesting if theu improve their methods Exam happens every 4 month after the end semester the timing of exam is good my 1st sem happened at the December whole month the difficult was not much high my account paper was difficult as it was more tricky but the difficult was managable

All about ARSD.

I applied to a lot of other colleges under Delhi University and some private colleges, i chose this college over those because overall it was a better and reputed college. Fees is quite affordable, attendance is managable, well infrastructure, based in a good locality, good connectivity and several other reasons. After your cuet examinations, you need to register yourself on the CSAS portal, offered by the university of delhi, where you need to make a preference sheet and then you are given colleges based on your CUET score....Read More

My Experience at Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College

I applied for all colleges in Delhi University. I got accepted into Delhi college of arts and Commerce, and then later got upgrade to Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College. I did not apply to any other university. I wanted to get selected into a North Campus college, but my score was not enough for it. The only way to get admitted into a delhi University college is through CUET, in which I scored 815/1000 (96.5%ile) after which I got admitted into ARSD. My growth journey in ARSD

I chose Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College because of its academic reputation and mainly its nirf ranking . Compared to other colleges i applied to, ARSD offered a abetter academic environment and experienced faculty. I applied to other colleges such as Hindu, Hansraj and Kirori Mal college but but admission confirmation came only from ARSD mainly due to high competition and high cutoff in CUET UG where even a minute difference in exams create a change in the seat allocation.
