The admission procedure is quite simple, you can either apply with your jee scorecard or you can give a test organised b the institution to join the college. Once the results are out, the college takes their counselling round in three phases and you will be called as per your ranking in the exam. You will be assisted in counselling where ever you need help.

I choose his course as I am interested in construction work and this college is amongst the top colleges of INDIA and it was close to my hometown. The class has a strength of 60 students, which I think is good. it's not more nor less. Almost all the teachers have a masters degree in their field, and many are pursuing their PhD. All the teachers are highly knowledgeable and very helpful. The industrial aspect is always taken into consideration for the teaching process, exams are held twice a semester, to test the knowledge gained by students. The exams are not that easy to pass, you need to be focused during your studies, and that will surely help you to score well.

The college has backed up many big companies and it does help in getting you a good internship. many manage to get a paid internship. Again same here with core branch students, they rarely get any internship in their field. We have to look outside for internships and placement, College is planning different methods to get their students placed.

The college has a very good record of placement in non-core branches, almost everyone who got placed has an average package of 4.5 LPA. College is trying to bring more core companies to college for the core branch students. I am planning to pursue my study further, doing M.Tech.

Every year college publishes their fees for admission, and the fees remain the same through your passing period. Those who are good at studies and have secured more than 95% in the 12th exam are also provided scholarships. Financial assistance is also provided o the needful students. For campus placement colleges have some mere extra charges that you have to pay, and a maximum of the students gets placed with an average package of 3.5-4.5 LPA, the maximum package that one has secured is 21 LPA. College is backed up with many big companies for placement programs, and in addition to that college also helps in internship programs. But if you are looking for a job in the core branch then the chances are quite low, as the college does have that much core company, well the Training and Placements department of the college is trying their level best to get their students placed and trying to contact with more and more core field companies.

College every year organises the biggest college fest of the northeast, KAALRAV. The fest is very much happening and you get to learn some new skills other than technical knowledge. the college also conducts its tech fest ADRIHSTA. IN addition to that departmental fests are going all around the year. The college has many different clubs, which you can join and club activities go on parallel to the studies, everything goes in a systemised way so that your study is not affected. The college has a very good name in sports, college does conduct sports meet and also send their students to other colleges for sports competition. classroom are provided with all the latest equipment that is needed for teaching.

The hostel is very well maintained, in total there are 4 hostels in college, 2 for boys and 2 for girls. Each room has accommodation for 2 students, the room has 2 beds, 2 tables and 2 almirahs and an attached washroom. The hostel is well equipped with Wi-Fi. The hostel mess provides meals 4 times a day, including the evening snacks. the food so cooked is hygienic, nutritious and tasty.
