Addmission take in University of Delhi is very huge thing.I applied for University of Delhi first I filled form for it and then I saw the cuttoffs of all colleges.I saw in Zakir Hussain Delhi college had not high cuttoff then other colleges. So I got addmission their first they provide me conselling where the counselor said me you should take admission in B.A programme with the discipline subject Economics and HRM so I take admission there in 3rd cuttoff in B.A programme with Economics and English.

Course Curriculum Overview

In Zakir Hussain college the professor are very nice and pleasing nature. I'm still in contact with them. In my economics class there is good ratio of students because Economics class of B.A programme and B.Com programme were in same class. In my class 128 students were there. In my final result I got 70%.There the examination term are divided in two semesters.

Fees and Financial Aid

In Zakir Hussain college University of Delhi fees is very low that is 7000rs. Per year. Some students of my class applied for scholarship of govt. From NSP their 80% fees returned them by government. I applied for many internship of government where I can earn some money also I gave the entrance exam for M.A.

Campus Life

Zakir Hussain college fest are good I attended only 1st year fest then in 2nd or 3 rd year because of covid19 fest and farewell were not allow. But the 1st year fest was amazing where some students did dance and some did drama I took a participation in many competition. There are many societies such as NCC ,NSS National service scheme and eco club I join both.

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum I took is okay considering the low placement percentage from the college's side which is I would say sometimes bad and good at the same time as the students can find their own way around such things. Faculty just complete the topics. we have to study ourselves.

I applied overall for all the colleges obviously on the first round I got shyama Prasad college for women and I didn't like it so in the 2nd round I got this college and I didn't go for 3rd round because I accidentally placed a not well reputed college above this so yeah I choose this one. *I applied for many colleges but got enrolled in Zakir Hussain because of distance from my home and also i research about infrastructure of this college it has vast facilities there. * No, I didn't get any rejection, i just wanted to do less travell. * At my time, i got admission through my merit percentage. for my course 92% required for morning and 85% for evening. i was eligible for eveing only. After getting admission, procedure was smooth, i just went to college and filled the form got help from seniors of my department, they were kind and helpfull in nature.Then along with admission form had to submit all the required documents- like your identity proof, all academic marksheets, fee reciept, category certificate(if applicable),migration certificate(if applicable).you need to sign all the documents and please carry all your original documents and copy as well.Your original documents will get submitted for verification and they returned it after some time,so dont worry about it....Read More
