i have gone in ikgptu asr campus based on ptu counselling procedure which is primilarly based on jee main score and remaining seats are filled on the basis of 12th marks.minimum marks to get into this college is 45% in 12th board.

i choose the b.tech cse because my dream was to become a software engineer. the faculty: student ratio for my current semester is 6:60. the faculty are highly qualified, almost all of them have PHDs in their respective subjects. their teaching style is very good.there are two mid semst exams test held .

Placement Experience

only final year students are eligible for campus placements. only some service-based companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro visit campus .96% of students placed last year. the highest was 10 LPA and the average package was 3 LPA.my plan is to get good job in my last year.

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee structure per year without any scholarship is approx 84750 ru but there are scholarships provided based on jee main score or12th score .the cost of study is low with good scholarships (75% maximum scholarship). currently i am in 3rd semst so i cann't give detail about placements.

Campus Life

currently i have not attained any techfest but some tech fest are conducted. there are lot of books and journals available in library . classrooms are highly equipped and wi-fi enables labs. there are some sports like cricket or chess competition general we do. there are some whatsapp groups run by students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience
