Magic of being in LSR

Step-1 filling common registration form of Delhi University . Fee charges - 250 rs Step-2 a cut off list was released by DU . In fact 6-7 cutt off are released by DU for various colleges and their courses. I saw the cut off and applied for LSR on DU's official website itself with my previous registered ID and paid fees for the same . Also I got LSR in 3rd cut off list. Step-3 after few days we got mail from college for orientation and other important instructions . Soon we got introduced with college what's app group both formal and informal.

The reason for choosing the course was that I had a lot of interest in Economics in 12th class also this course has the Highest placement packages, One of the most prestigious course DU provides. The students are masters of their field , all toppers of different states and districts giving strong competition to you but they are so helping too , got exposure to people of different cultures. The teachers are so cool and smart I can't define. Most of them have done their studies from University of Delhi itself, having lot of experience, so supportive and helpful , I used call my teachers personally and take their help on various issues apart from studies also. The 1 sem started 2 months later before usual time but that was because of late declaration of results by various boards and also covid. But we got enough time for completing the syllabus and exams we on time . As it was for first time giving exams in college I saw ques of 18-20 marks a big transformation from school to college.

Students are involved in various internships provided by various NGOs like muskan, CRY etc Also they get Intership from internshala, TCS, HU, swiggy, LEK consulting . There are several other organisations like girl's up rabata. Roohani emactus, Model United Nations.

Students start intership from 1 semester . And they start getting Intership till end of 2nd yr specially from summer internship Various companies like Hindustan Unilever, TCS, etc provides Intership opportunity. The highest package was in 2019 batch of 29 lakh. Average package is of 8-9 lakhs. But I am not planning for any placement as I will prepare for UPSC after the course.

The fees for the course is 15780 (not much high), Also I got a freeship and with me a lot of students got that. Every year student are provided various freeship and scholarship. For that college timely provides an application form . During pandemic students were provided free laptops of good quality.

The TARANG annual fest of LSR is so famous in DU , it goes for 3 days mostly in winters dec-jan . The students enjoy various performances , art and cultural stuffs, food etc etc . We got books from college through Rinku bhaiya . He provides binders on online orders to us. Also not we have been provided access to online library. We also got study material from teachers in PDF formats . College has lots of sports . It has NCC, NSS, NSO and each student of college has to be part of any one atleast for one year . Recently 2 girls got special entry in Army through NCC. Societies - prakriti etc students are connected with MUN, pet society, dhyana society, girls up rabata , etc .
