I applied to a few other colleges such as VIT, SRM, KIIT through their entrance exams and got confirmed admission from each of them. I chose this college as the fee is relatively lower being a government college and better ROI in my opinion. My WBJEE rank wasnt good enough to get my desired branches in Jadavpur Univerity or KGEC which made me opt for this particular college. The admission here takes place through two ways- WBJEE counselling and Decentralised counselling. To get admission through WBJEE one need a decent rank ( around 9k) for the upper branches. For making it through decentralised counselling, one needs to do significantly well in their board exams. Admission experience is quite smooth.
