Remarks

The admission process was very easy.You have to give TMISAT entrance exam. If you qualify then there will be interview.Then as per dg shipping circular, there will be a medical test.Rank in IMUCET is required.Every process of admission is in online mode as well as offline.

I like machinery works and practical thats why i joined this course. The faculty in our college is very good, highly qualified, and very helpful. Class strength is about 40. There are class tests and semester exams and it's easy to pass if you study well.

By the end of the course, you get an internship. There is a big ship on the campus is present where internship training takes place. Even many companies give internships to our students so that they gain experience.

placement in our college is good. About 70% of students get placed as per the job situation its good number. many reputated companies like NYK,Maersk tanker, Thome, Teekay tankers etc comes in our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is a little high but you will be satisfied by the facilities provided by the institute.There are many scholarships present. if you rank in top 25 in semester exam then there is compensation in fees.we get internship at 4th year

Campus Life

There are many activity clubs more than ten clubs are there. Many sports facilities are also there like football , tennis, cricket etc. The library in pur college is very big. Social groups are very good in our college. The classroom is very well furnished.

Hostel Facilities

There are 3 hostels in our institute.hostels are very clean,tidy and hygenic. There is a common bathroom in each floor. The rooms are very clean and spacious. there is a mess providing good tatsty food.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

TMI the best college

I just applied for this college and I guess its much more better than other colleges due to high placement rate better campus environment and reviews from other ex students. Admission process is little bit complicated tho we have to give IMU cet, TMI SAT and TMI interview after clearing all three we have to clear medical then only we get Admissions and its must to have more then 60 percent in 10th and 12th....Read More
